Bhargain ; Where serving is a pleasure.

एक  वादा एक विश्वास. और उसीका नतीजा था भरगेंन में हमारा दूसरा कैंप. दुश्वारियां बहुत थीं लेकिन अहद पक्का था और यही वजह रही कि हम इसे मुमकिन कर सके.

24 जुलाई से ही टीम अपने लोगों की खिदमत के लिए निकल पडी. डॉक्टर मोहम्मद शाहिद, मोहम्मद आरिफ, अनुज सक्सेना और मनीष जैन तो हमारे साथी हैं ही इस बार महावीर इंटरनेशनल के कौशलेन्द्र जी भी हमारे साथ थे. महावीर इंटरनेशनल की एक पूरी टीम जो इस कैंप के लिए आने वाली थी.

Eye Care के क्षेत्र में Mahavir International का अप्रतिम योगदान है. दिल्ली को cataract free करने के संकल्प के साथ वो काम कर रहे हैं. 1979 से शुरू कर स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में उन्होंने अपने लिए एक विशिष्ट स्थान बनाया है. ऐसी प्रतिष्ठित संस्था को भरगेंन वासियों की सेवा में लाने का एक मात्र मकसद ये था कि  हमारे लोगों को भी नयी से नयी और अच्छी से अच्छी स्वास्थ्य सेवाएँ उपलब्ध हो सकें. शुक्र गुज़ार हैं हम जनाब अजय चौधरी साहेब के जिनके ताव्वुन से ये मुमकिन हो सका.

दो venues की अपनी दिक्कतें होती हैं और इसीलिए ये मुनासिब समझा गया कि कैंप एक ही जगह हो. बरात घर पर तैयारियों को लेकर सब इकठ्ठा हुए. बरेली से श्री राम मूर्ती स्मारक ट्रस्ट से भी साथी लोग पहुँच चुके थे. मोहित के होम वर्क और असलम भाई की मेहरबानी से उन लोगों को भी आने में और रुकने में कोई तकलीफ नहीं हुयी. साजिद भाई छिद्दन भाई अब्दुर रहमान साहब और चुन्ना भाई की मौजूदगी से हर चीज़ बहुत आसान सी लगने लगी.

किसी भी बड़े कार्यक्रम में last minute blues तो हमेशा रहते ही हैं और वो भी खास तौर से तब जब कि लोगों को दूर दूर से आना हो. महावीर इंटरनेशनल की टीम जिसको उषा कपूर मैडम के नेत्रत्व में शाम तीन बजे दिल्ली से निकल जाना था she could start only at around 1800 hrs. Then the team had inputs that were quite scary. They were given to understand that there is no place worth the name where they can hope to stay for night at Etah. Further reaching Bhargain would be a nightmare as there is no road. We are happy we could dispel those doubts. Thanx Mahavir International for trusting us and being there.

Team from Lucknow which had Sriniwas Mishra alongwith Dharmendra Sachan, Thakur Amarjeet Singh and Sudhir Tyagi arrived simultaneously. Krishna Sisodiya and others travelled all the way from Dewas and Ratlam to contribute. We fall short of words in expressing our gratitude to Aslam Bhai and his wife who hosted all of us with such a delicious lunch. Their affection and the affection of the people of Bhargain is our strength. And Insha Allah this will lead us to serve the people of Bhargain in a manner it has never been done before.

After tieing up things at Bhargain we came to Etah to look after the Mahavir International Team. Babloo remained awake till two when they finally arrived and settled them seamlessly. Bhaskar Sharma hosted a nice dinner for the team at Aligarh. Thanks Bhaskar for all the pains you took. And Congratulations you have been blessed with another son. The team is looking for a party.

The Team from Shree Ram Moorti Smarak Trust arrived at Aliganj and was completely looked after by Aslam Bhai. And knowing how warm and caring he is we know Barielly Team would definitely have been more than comfortable. Thanx Aditya for sending your team.

The morning of 25th july had overcast skies and that was worrying. But then everything was put in place well in time. Sajid Malik sahab and Vimal Mishra deserve special thanks for the effort they put in. All the doctors were there dot in time and camp picked up really well.

At a very personal level the high point of this camp was the team Zeya Imam brought from Aligarh Muslim University. Zeya it has taken you almost a year to travel from Aligarh to be with us but when you have reached ,we know the journey is going to be far smoother and worth travelling. आप देर से पहुंचे मगर दुरुस्त पहुंचे. Thanx are due to Ali Amir Bhai who sent the community medicine team  whose contribution was immense.

In all around 2000 patients were examined and given free medicines. This despite heavy showers we had in between. All of us at Anubhuti have a feeling that all those who came to Bhargain will have fond memories of this camp and will return to this place whenever we get a chance to serve again.

Thanks are also due to Neena Pandey Head of the Department of Social Work at Aditi College University of Delhi who travelled to Bhargain to be a part of Anubhuti journey. She is drawing up many a plans for positive intervention in Bhargain. May God bless her.

Special mention needs to be made about the young brigade of Bhargain whose heart really beats for Bhargain namely Abdur Rahman Khan, Rauf  Ahmad Khan and their entire Team who made it possible. Thank you so much for being there and contributing.

एक नई जगह, एक नया संवाद...

पटियाली लैब उत्तेजना से भरा है और चाहतों की इस दौड़ में वो आगे रहना चाहता है। कंप्यूटर  उन चाहतों का  एक खास केंद्र है जिसमें  आकर जीना हर कोई चाहता है हर कोई का मतलब लैब से जुड़ने वाला हर एक शख्स।

लड़का हो या लड़की सब अपनी बात रखने  का एक साधन ढ़ूढने निकल पड़े हैं ।

लड़कों का लैब से जुड़ना और लैब के साधनों की सूची से जुड़ना एक पल के लिए आसान लगा लेकिन लड़कियों के  घर से निकलने की एक ही वज़ह है एक खास तरह के प्रोग्राम से जुड़ना जिससे भविष्य की झल्कियों में वो अपने आप को खड़ा पायें ।

लैब के पहले दिन में हमारा आपसी संवाद कुछ इस तरह होता है-
हम सभी जानते हैं कि हम इस जगह से क्यों जुड़े हैं ?

सब – कंप्यूटर  सीखने के लिए।
मैं - कंप्यूटर हमारे काम करने के कई साधनों में  से एक साधन है, जिसके साथ हम रोज़ जुड़े रहेंगे लेकिन इसके साथ और भी कई तरह की एक्टिविटी  के साथ हम काम करेंगे।
सब – हम कंप्यूटर  सीखना चाहते हैं.
मैं- कंप्यूटर  भी सीखन-सिखाना चलेगा लेकिन कुछ और काम भी जुड़े हैं कंप्यूटर  के साथ जैसे कि साउंड, इमेज और लिखने की एक्टिविटी .

और ये सभी प्रक्रियांए कंप्यूटर  की दुनियां से होकर गुज़रेंगी जैसे कि किसी स्टोरी का एनीमिशन बनाना, किसी कहानी को कुछ फ्रेम में उतारकर गिम्प में डिज़ाइन करना, अपनी लिखी किसी भी बात , संवाद या कहानी को कंप्यूटर  पर ही टाइप किया जाएगा और बहुत से  फोर्म को भी हम सब मिलकर कंप्यूटर पर ही डिज़ाइन करेंगे।

जिससे कि हम खुद को पूर्ण तरीके  से अपने आने वाले कल में खड़ा पा सकें। हम खुद के साथ काम करेंगे, खुद की सोच से खेलेंगे, नए ज़रियों से अपने आपको अपने आस-पास और समाज में पेश करेंगे।

लैब से जुड़े ज्यादातर लड़के-लड़कियां 10-12 क्लास के स्टूडेंट हैं और कुछ 8-9 क्लास के।
3 बच्चे भी है इस ग्रुप से जुड़े हुए जो माहौल की गरमाई में भी हंसी के गोले मारते रहते हैं।

लैब चलने का सिलसिला 1 जुलाई से शुरू हुआ, वैसे में यहां पिछले एक महीने से हूँ.  जिसमें मैने लोगों से बातचीत और समझने-समझाने के कई नए सिलसिलों से जुड़ना बेहतर  समझा.  गर्मियों  में लैब की रोज़मर्रा में मैं खुद को अकेला पाता था.  एक साथी और है इस अकेलेपन को बांटने वाला ( विमल ) हम दो लोग लैब में बैठकर अकसर ये सोचते थे कि लैब की शुरूआत कहाँ  से और कैसे करें ? क्योंकि बच्चे तो स्कूल शुरू होने के बाद ही आएंगे। तो हम दोनों हमेशा बच्चों को ढूढने निकल पड़ते थे, कभी किसी जानकार डॉक्टर से बात होती तो कभी इलाके के जानकार शख्स से कि हमारे साथ घर-घर चलके बच्चों को लैब से जुड़ने का न्यौता दें और समझाएं. 

अंशुमान भाई  ने भी पटियाली के लोगो से ये अपील की थी कि सैफू एक खास तरह की जगह  को पटियाली मे बना रहे हैं जिसमें आप सभी के बच्चों की इन्हे जरूरत पड़ेगी। उनके साथ कई नई एक्टिविटी  पर काम करेंगे, नई पहचान और टेलेंट को उभारेंगे।

यहां सभी को लिखने की समझ है लेकिन लिखें क्या उसकी समझ अभी खाली है।
और मेरा काम तो इसी सवाल से शुरू होता है - मैने शुरूआत में हाथों को लेखन की ओर लाने के लिए सवालों से खेलने की सोची कुछ छोटे सवालों की सूची बनाई और माहौल में फैकना शुरू किया ।

1 हम अपने आस-पास को किस नज़र से देखते हैं ?
2 घर और बाहर के माहौल में  क्या फर्क महसूस होता है ?
3 आवाज़ों को सुनकर माहौल की कल्पना क्या होगी ?
4 छत या घर की खिड़की से किसी एक माहौल को देख कर लिखना, जैसे- बारात या लड़ाई-झगड़े का माहौल।
5 अपने आस-पास की किसी जानकार छवि के बारे में लिखना जिसे सब जानते हो तुम भी।
6 अपने दोस्तों की सूची बनाओ और किसी एक खास दोस्त के बारे में लिखो कि वो खास क्यों है ?
7 वो एक दिन जिसे आप हमेशा याद रखते हो और क्यूं ?
8 गलियों से गुज़रते वक़्त किन-किन चीज़ों को आप अपनी जगह की पहचान का हिस्सा बना लेते हो ?
9 किसी से आप आकर्षित कब होते होते हो ? आकर्षित होने की  वजह को लिखना।
10 वो कौन सा माहौल है जिसमें  आप खुद को हर बार देखना चाहते हो और क्यूं ?

सबने लिखने की शुरूआत को बहुत ही मज़े के साथ लिया और लिखा भी सुनने-सुनाने की जब बात आई तो सबकी नज़रों और चहरों के देख कर मुझे अपना जे-पी लैब याद आ गया- मेरा वो पहला दिन जब मैंने आवाज़ो को सुनकर लिखा था, उस झिझक का फिर एक बार सामना करना पड़ा और जैसे मुझे उत्सुक किया गया था मैंने भी वही किया, थोड़ा ज़ोर डालते हुए।

सुनने के बाद बड़ा मज़ा आया सबके लेखन में छोटी-छोटी कुछ ऎसी  झलकियां थी जो माहौल को एक-दम से अपना बना देतीं  और सब एक-दूसरे पर हंसने लगते।

लिखने के इस सिलसिले के साथ हम आगे बढ़ते  रहेंगे और नयी सोच और संवाद को आपस में बाटते रहेंगे.

इसी बात पर एक शेर अर्ज़ करता हूँ


जिंदगी के लम्हों को बिताना सीख लिया,
मिला कोई जब तो बतियाना सीख लिया,
परवाह अगर की तो भुलाना भी सीख लिया,
जीना किसे कहते हैं सीख पाए न हम, लेकिन जीना सीख लिया।

Surviving to carry on

Nobody can be blamed for this. But it was a question of life and death. On 3rd of July when we were returning from Patiyali, we met with an accident near Sikandara Rau. The vehicle, as is usual, a borrowed one, was moving at a speed of around 90kmph when from nowhere a neelgai (Indian Bluebuck) appeared in front of the vehicle at a meanacing speed.

We collided head on while the neel gai took it side on. Shahid, Gyanendra Mishraji and Sanjay woke up to the reality that was an accident. Shahid smiled and said his affair with Neelgai continues. ( Remember neelgai had kissed the Innova in Jan when Shahid was travelling with Prabhat Bhai).

The stability Innova has as a vehicle saved us for the day. The vehicle was badly damaged, and is yet to get back on road. The journey became quite eventful after that. Gyanendra bhai arranged an Indica from a near by village ( we are impressed Gyanendra Bhai) and we were driven back to Aligarh.

Sabir was waiting at Aligarh with a railway ticket so that we could board Shatabdi. But that was not to be, as we reached five minutes late. We purchased a ticket for Neelanchal Express, and in true Railway tradition it kept on getting delayed. In the mean time Bhaskar who had left for the accident spot joined us at the station. He had met Babu the driver and found that the vehicle could be driven back to Delhi at a slow speed.

Neelanchal never came. We had Mahananda rolling in instead at 2130. Mahananda has a bad reputation for punctuality. Word was exchanged with Rahul Agarwal who told us that after Aligarh all trains are same. One is rarely given a precedence over the other. So we should board whatever is coming earlier in point of time. And that is how we boarded Mahananda.

Having boarded we realised Mahananda doesn't go to New Delhi railway station and it terminates at Old Delhi instead. Himanshu had been requested to pick us up from New Delhi, and Sanjay had requested someone to drop him at Vasant Kunj. All these requests had to be cancelled. Karunendra's presence at Ghaziabad prompted us to get down there. Always ready to help us in crisis he took no time in sending us the vehicle and we finally reached our places by 115 and 2 AM.

The wait was tiresome and frustrating. Only consolation was that Neelanchal didnt overtake us. The Ghevar Udairaj had handed us over at Kasganj helped us fight the pangs of hunger. Those who have not tasted Lala Roshan Laji's famous sweets are invited to join the journey and relish the delicacies.

We are alive and kicking। The stuggle is on. All are welcome on board.

श्री राम मूर्ती स्मारक ट्रस्ट बरेली का सहयोग

Health camps करते समय हम सभी ये शिद्दत से महसूस करते रहे हैं कि जो लोग ऐसी बीमारियों से पीड़ित हैं जिनमें regular follow up और detailed diagnosis की ज़रुरत है उन्हें सस्ता और अच्छा इलाज दिलाने की कोशिश हमें करनी चाहिए।

गंजडुण्डवारा में जब मोहित के अनुरोध पर अनिल भाई फर्रुखाबाद से चल कर आये और हमें Dr. राजीव गुप्ता से मिलवाया तो दूर दूर तक ये अंदाज़ा नहीं था कि वो कितना ख़ूबसूरत तोहफा अनुभूति को देकर जा रहे हैं। राजीव गुप्ता जी ने हमें श्री राम मूर्ती स्मारक ट्रस्ट की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में बहुत अच्छा काम कर रहे हैं और अगर अनुभूति उनका सहयोग ले सके तो समिति के प्रयास और सार्थक हो सकेंगे।

विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों की व्यस्तता के कारण श्री राम मूर्ती स्मारक ट्रस्ट की हमारी visit जल्दी संभव न हो सकी। फोन पर मोहित का संपर्क निरंतर बना हुआ था। अंततः 25 जून को सुबह सुबह हम लोग बरेली के लिए निकले। बाबू भाई गाडी चलाने नहीं आये तो हम VKPS की शरण में पहुंचे और एक नया ड्राईवर लेकर चल पड़े।

गढ़ मुक्तेश्वर के पास जो जाम लगता है उस रोड पर चलने वाले उस से प्रायः दो चार होते हैं और फिर जिसके मन में जहाँ आता है वो वहां गाडी घुसेड देता है। खेतों में बने कच्चे पक्के रास्तों पर होते हुए हम गढ़ पर बने पुल के नीचे तक तो पहुँच गए लेकिन पुल के ऊपर पहुंचना काफी टेढ़ी खीर साबित हुआ। We will always remember those images where Mohit created a way putting all his wits to use.

दूरियों और देरियों से मुकाबला करते हुए हम बरेली पहुंचे। लेकिन वहां पहुँच कर सारी थकान जाती रही। श्री राम मूर्ती स्मारक ट्रस्ट पहुँच कर हम मिले आदित्य मूर्ती जी से। A young and dynamic person who was more than warm to us. And yes there was a lot of positive energy around him. There was a note on his table which was so inspiring, the import of which was " यदि आप किसी चीज़ के लिए ईमानदारी से कोशिश करते हैं तो पूरी सृष्टि आपके सहयोग में लग जाती है।" How very true.

Shree Ram Moorti Smarak Trust Institute of Medical Sciences is one great institution. You have got to see it to believe it. It has all the modern facilities and they are available at very cost effective rates. More importantly there is a personal touch to everything and maintenance is out of this world. Aditya was very kind to organise a visit for us round the campus. And He has been very generous in offering all support to Anubhuti Team in its endeavours.

The first visible sign of the contribution being made by the Trust will be reflected in the next health camp scheduled to be held at Bhargain on 25th July. They have also promised free cataract operations at their hospital for all patients recommended by Anubhuti. Thank You so much.

श्री राम मूर्ती स्मारक ट्रस्ट ने जो मुस्कान हमें दी उसे सहेज कर हम अपने साथी असलम भाई से मिलने पहुंचे। वही खुलूस वही मोहब्बत। अफ़सोस दीदी घर पर नहीं थीं। इंशा अल्लाह हम फिर हाज़िर होंगे।

गढ़ मुक्तेश्वर में लगे जाम के भय से हम लोग via Badayun, Bulandshahar लौटे। रास्ता सुनसान ज़रूर था लेकिन अच्छा था। बरेली में ही गाडी चोटिल हो गयी थी इसलिए ये रास्ता और भी बेहतर रहा।

एक और सफ़र एक और मंजिल
चलते रहना ही तो ज़िंदगी है।
