वो सुबह कभी तो आयेगी

इन काली सदियों के सर से जब रात का आँचल ढलकेगा

मिटटी का भी है कुछ मोल मगर इंसानों की कीमत कुछ भी नहीं
इंसानों की कीमत जब झूठे सिक्कों में न तौली जायेगी

वो सुबह कभी तो आयेगी

नहीं नहीं आज की हमारी ये सुबह वो सुबह नहीं है जिस का इंतज़ार करते करते साहिर चले गए और न जाने कितनी पीढियां और चली जायेंगी। लेकिन ये भी सच है कि अपने limited sphere में काम करती अनुभूति की टीम को इस बात का यकीन है कि जिन लोगों के बीच हम काम कर रहे हैं उनकी हर सुबह को खुशनुमा बनाने की हमारी ईमानदार कोशिश कुछ न कुछ बदलाव तो ज़रूर लायेगी।

और इसी का परिणाम है कि टीम बहुत ही commitment और focussed तरीके से काम में जुटी है। Alarm के बजने से पहले ही सब उठना शुरू हो गए। 6 लोग और एक बाथरूम , Hostel जैसी स्थिति , हर कोई अपने Turn का इंतज़ार करता। अब हम लोग उम्र के उस पड़ाव पर हैं जहाँ सब की कुछ आदतें पडी हुयी हैं किसी को उठते ही चाय चाहिए तो किसी को coffee. Anuj had promised to bring bed tea and although nobody believed him almost everyone was waiting for him. He surprised everyone when he turned up with a thermous full of tea.

We reached the camp site simultaneously with the doctors and it went off well। But we need to improve upon the timings of doctors as despite our best efforts they turn up around 11. That should not be the case in Bhargain where the turn out is expected to be much larger. We hope Bhaskar will take necessary remedial measures.

There were a few appointments lined up for us at Ganjdundwara by Mohit and Sajid. The most prominent among them being with Shri Anil Gupta who had travelled all the way long from Farrukhabad to introduce us to people who matter in Ganj. Dr. Rajeev Gupta was one among them. A very popular doctor he was more than warm about our programmes. Thanx Anil Bhai for the pains taken, but we will keep troubling you in future too and try to keep the promise of visiting you at Farrukhabad.

Back in the camp about 700 people took consultations and medicines. The turnout was good as people from nearby villages had also come. There were demands from Sunngarhi side for a camp in future. We think the executive can consider it after Bhargain.

There are a few in house issues raised by Dharmendra that need to be addressed. First and foremost discipline amongst ourselves, secondly tighter control on medicine distribution for there are quite a few leakages and better financial management.

On return this time we were lucky to meet Gangwar sir and Shailendra at Agra. For us from Sainik School it was a great reunion with Sanjeev Sharma who has now become Dr Rajesh Gautam. We hope to see him again at the Bhargain Camp.

It would be good if we meet this sunday at Aligarh and make the final preparations for Bhargain. This would also give us an opportunity to meet Zeya Imam, Haris-ul-islam and Abdul Sami Khan.

Preparing for Bhargain

ये सिर्फ यात्राओं के वृतांत नहीं हैं , निर्माण की कहानियां हैं। इसलिए हो सकता है ये उतनी रुचिकर भी न लगें ,क्योंकि निर्माण की प्रक्रिया हमेशा लम्बी और कभी कभी उबाऊ भी होती है। लेकिन संघर्ष के राही जानते हैं कि यूँ चलते जाना ही उन्हें मंजिल तक पहुंचाएगा।

संघर्ष की उसी कड़ी में हम निकले महमूदपुर Camp के लिए, साथ ही भरगैन की तैयारियों के लिए। इस बार हमारे साथ जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया में लेक्चरार सखावत हुसैन साहब भी थे। शाहिद और मोहित तो बदलाव के हमसफ़र हैं ही। संजय भाई और मनोज जी अनुभूति टीम के सिढपुरा office के निर्माण हेतु अपने valuable inputs देने के लिए हमारे साथ हुए। संसाधनों की कमी का परिणाम यह हुआ कि अनुज को अपनी कार खुद चलाकर ले जानी पडी। इस भीषण गर्मी में उसका AC भी काम नहीं कर रहा था। फिर भी सब लोग चलते रहे। और खैर के पास पहुँच कर दूसरी गाडी भी खराब हो गयी और AC ने काम करना बंद कर दिया। लेकिन फिर भी ढाई बजे हम पटियाली पहुँच गए। लखनऊ से धर्मेन्द्र और सुधीर भी आ पहुंचे।

पटियाली में साजिद मालिक सुबह से हमारे इंतज़ार में थे। बबलू ने नरदौली में लगी आग में कई घरों के तबाह हो जाने की खबर फोन से दी थी। और फिर साजिद भाई ने गाँव का दौरा कर यह पाया था कि पीड़ित परिवार बहुत ही ग़रीब हैं और सरकार द्वारा दी गयी 2000 रूपये प्रति परिवार की मदद नाकाफी है। सच्चाई तो ये है कि वो खाने को भी मोहताज हैं। अतः इन सभी परिवारों के लिए अनुभूति ने एक हफ्ते के लिए खाद्य सामग्री का kit तैयार किया और उन घरों तक पहुँचाया। A very small gesture to show our solidarity with them in their hour of crisis. May god provide them the strength to tide this crisis.

People at Bhargain had been waiting for us since afternoon but occupied as we were with things at Nardauli we got late and finally reached there around 730 PM। Aslam Bhai had been coordinating everything so closely that Wahid Bhai was there waiting for us. Islam Nabi sahab was there personally to show us the IM Inter College, the venue of the camp. We have understood the broad lay out and it should prove to be an ideal venue. we will however have to address issues of water, shade, medicine distribution and crowd regulation. Chhiddan bhai has promised to reach Bhargain on 24th from Gujarat and that would be a great support. We need to appologise to Dr Devendra Yadav, his close friend , who had to return to his village after having waited for us the whole day.

When we reached Etah after a long and hectic day there were quite a few of us who had no energy left even for the dinner. But then good sense prevailed and we had a good meal. As soon as we returned to the room and took to bed almost every one fell asleep immediately.

चलो सो जाएँ ,

कुछ देर के लिए ही सही,
दूर दुश्वारियों से ,

Beyond Ganges

ठीक एक महीने बाद हम एक और Health Camp आयोजित कर सके। इस से पहले कि किसी नकारात्मक भावना से प्रेरित विचार लिपिबद्ध हों पहले अच्छी अच्छी बातें।

( Beyond Ganges title किसी भी तरह शाहिद भाई की किताब Beyond Contraceptives से प्रेरित नहीं है। हाँ हमारा ये denial ज़रूर गुलज़ार साहब की इस बात से प्रेरित है कि इब्ने बतूता पर सर्वेश्वर दयाल सक्सेना का कोई सर्वाधिकार थोड़े ही है। )

शरद भाई की सलाह पर तिलक का नगला को इस camp हेतु चुना गया था. गंगा के उस पार मूल जिले कासगंज या एटा से पहुंचना काफी मुश्किल है , हाँ बदायूं की तरफ से थोडा आसान। इसलिए अलग अलग टीमें अलग दिशाओं से पहुँचीं । बदलाव के इस सफ़र के नए हमराही थे अरुण पाठक ,मनीष जैन और रोहित जैन। साथ ही राजीव राय के सौजन्य से इस बार हमारे साथ थे बुलंद शहर के प्रख्यात न्यूरो सर्जन डा राजीव अग्रवाल ।

शिविर को सफल ही माना जाय क्योंकि करीब 400 लोगों ने इसका लाभ उठाया। एक बात जो कई साथियों को परेशान करती रही वो थी कुछ एक गाँव वालों का बार बार दवा लेना। अब किसी भी public programme के इन side effects के लिए शायद हमें mentally तैयार रहना चाहिए।

Having said that all of us need to ponder if we are living upto what we had planned. All of us ,when we were not there in the field, had wonderful ideas. But once we are there it seems we have been struck with a drought of ideas. We get up mechanically, do the health camps and return. Is that all?

It is time we do a rethink. We need to spend more time in the area and make more interventions. Interventions that are innovative, that make a difference and that count.

Repeat at Sanaudhi

It was not by chance that we had chosen Sanaudhi for a camp earlier. This is the village from which Anuj (Saxena) hails. It was time we repeated it here so that there could be a continuity in what we are doing. Everything seemed so simple, when that was decided, for the place was seen and we merely had to replicate what we had done earlier. But things are never as easy as they seem.

As the D day arrived we had a series of difficulties. Arif was down with fever and hence was ruled out. Anuj was on a trip to Kashipur and it was difficult contacting him. Bhaskar who has single handedly handled the doctors team was in trouble as his mother and brother were hospitalised. The leader of the doctor's team Dr .Poornesh Chandra had problems in the back. Dharmendra's better half and daughters had fever, so Sudhir was left alone at Lucknow.

भगवान जब देता है तो छप्पर फाड़ के देता है। जब सुधीर स्टेशन पर ट्रेन पकड़ने पहुंचा तो पता चला कि ट्रेन cancelled है। लगभग पूरी टीम ही परेशानियों से दो चार थी। लेकिन सलाम उस हौसले को जो अनुभूति को एक ऐसा संगठन बनाता है जहाँ पीछे मुड़ने का प्रश्न ही नहीं। निर्णय हो गया तो बस जुनून है उसे अंजाम तक पहुंचाने का। सुधीर ने बस से चलने का फैसला कर डाला। शायद इश्वर को कुछ दया आयी और चीज़ें संभलना शुरू हुईं। Sudheer got accommodation on another train up to Tundla. We got in touch with Anuj and his movement with Mohit was tied up. Doctors were finally able to speak to Bhaskar assuring their presence at Sanaudhi.

As the morning of 21st feburary descended, things looked much brighter. Mohit left his place at 4.00 AM, picked up Anuj from Faridabad and at six they were near Khair. Doctors left Aligarh albeit slightly late, and Rajesh Dixit joined the team from Etah.

The camp was successfully organised. Anubhuti volunteers for the first time donned the new T shirts sent by Chaudhry Saheb. Deputy Commissioner - Commercial Tax Etah - Mr. M.Y. Ansari was kind enough to be present as the chief guest.

पटियाली : साधन विहीन कटरी क्षेत्र के अति पिछड़ा ग्राम सनौढी में अनुभूति सेवा समिति के तत्वावधान में तथा उप आयुक्त विक्री कर एम् वाई अंसारी के मुख्य आतिथ्य में स्वास्थ्य शिविर का आयोजन किया गया।

क्षेत्र भर से पधारे मरीजों को संबोधित करते हुए उपायुक्त विक्री कर ने कहा कि चिकित्सकीय सुविधाएं मौजूदा समय में शहरी क्षेत्र तक सिमट कर रह गयी हैं। अनुभूति सेवा समिति द्वारा ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में शिविर लगा कर निशुल्क स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण एवं दवा वितरण कर मानव सेवा की जा रही है। मानव सेवा ही सर्वोपरि है जिसे अनुभूति सेवा समिति बखूबी अंजाम दे रही है।

शिविर में आठ सौ से अधिक मरीजों का स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण कर दवा वितरित की गयी..........

म्याऊ में स्वास्थ्य शिविर

कटरी क्षेत्र का काफी पिछड़ा गाँव है म्याऊ। समी ने target गाँवों की जो सूची बनाई थी उसमें भी ये शामिल था। हमारे साथी डाक्टर शाज़ेब यहीं के रहने वाले हैं। सो 14 feb को अगला कैंप म्याऊ में लगाने का फैसला हुआ और तैयारियां भी शुरू हो गयीं। फिर मलिक भाई ने फरमाया कि म्याऊ में एक सालाना उर्स होता है जो 6 से 8 फरवरी तक चलेगा और अगर हम ये कैंप 7 को रख लेंगे तो ज्यादा लोग लाभ उठा पायेंगे।

फिर क्या था, पूरी टीम तुरंत सक्रिय हुयी और यों हम सबकी निगाहें म्याऊ कि ओर लग गयीं। धर्मेन्द्र और सुधीर लखनऊ से दिल्ली आ गए और फिर मोहित के साथ फिरोजाबाद की ओर हुआ प्रस्थान। रास्ते में पंकज गंगवार सर और शैलेन्द्र से मिलने की हूक तो बहुत उठी लेकिन समयाभाव के कारण वह संभव न हो सका।

फिरोजाबाद में हम बाबा साहब से मिले। 88 वर्ष की आयु में ग़ज़ब की fitness. His clarity in thinking was amazing. He could be business like and warm in the same stretch. He did the needful without wasting a moment and hosted high tea for us. No words can suffice our gratitude to him for the attention and affection he gave us.

How shall we ever forget the morning session we had on 7th prior to departure for म्याऊ ? Dharmendra wanted to continue the discussions later into the day but had to be advised against it. Such lighter and rare moments add value to the visits and make the journeys memorable.

The camp was a great success. The government machinery tried to chip in but in a supervisory role. Dr. Rajeev Kulshreshtha was kind enough to visit us and he has promised continued support in the camps to come. Qazi Raza Ahmad retired principal presided over the function. Most exemplary contrbution came from Anuj who drove all the way to the camp from Faridabad all alone and remained with us through out despite it being his marriage anniversary.

कैंप के उपरान्त शाम में हम लोग म्याऊ में आयोजित क़व्वाली मुकाबले में भी शामिल हुए। बहुत से लोगों को तो इस बात का इल्म भी नहीं है कि इस विधा के जन्म की कहानी पटियाली से ही शुरू होती है। क़व्वाली के जनक जनाब अमीर खुसरो साहब पटियाली के ही तो रहने वाले थे।

शरद मिश्राजी ने बताया कि कुछ सालों पहले अमीर खुसरो महोत्सव का आयोजन पटियाली में हुआ था और फिर बात आयी गयी हो गयी। अमीर खुसरो अपनी ज़मीन में ही बेगाने हो गए। अनुभूति के साथियों का मानना है कि उस रवायत को जिंदा करने की कोशिश हमें करनी चाहिए। इंशा अल्लाह हम उसे करेंगे और कामयाब होंगे।

मनोज भाई के कमरे में ये लाइनें पढ़ी थीं उन्हें उद्धृत करना ठीक ही होगा :

उस पार है उम्मीदों और उजास की एक पूरी दुनिया
अन्धेरा तो सिर्फ देहरी पर है।

किसान गोष्ठी

मलिक भाई का कहना था कि पूरे क्षेत्र में तम्बाकू की फसल पीली पड़ रही है , किसान हताश और निराश हैं तथा जल्दी ही कुछ नहीं किया गया तो आत्म हत्याओं जैसी स्थिति भी बन सकती है। यह हमारे लिए बिल्कुल नए प्रकार की चुनौती थी।

हमने कोशिश की कि अवागढ़ के वैज्ञानिक केंद्र से संपर्क कर सहायता उपलब्ध कराई जाये लेकिन कुछ हो न सका और फिर हम मनोज भाई की शरण में पहुंचे। संजय इंगोले के सहयोग से हमने भारतीय कृषि अनुसन्धान संस्थान से संपर्क साधा और थोड़ी आशा बंधी। तुरत फुरत कुछ samples भी बुलवा लिए गए लेकिन कोई नतीजा नहीं निकल सका।

एक बार पुनः प्रक्रिया प्रारम्भ हुयी तो हमारा संपर्क डॉक्टर प्रतिभा शर्मा से हुआ जो कि IARI में Plant pathologist हैं। मैडम की अपनी व्यस्तताएं तो थी हीं उनका स्वास्थ्य भी ठीक नहीं था। She therefore wanted to visit the area after 6th of Feb. But for us who were getting daily reminders from the field it was really difficult to postpone it that far. We persisted and madam obliged.

On the morning of 30th January we started for Patiyali. Madam was ready at 6am sharp. Anuj was picked up from Faridabad while Shahid and Arif started from home itself.

The journey it seemed would never end. We reached the venue at 130pm and were then able to conduct the meeting in a very fruitful manner. Madam had to take a combiflam but she is a great fighter and she has really inspired us by being with us on this journey.

पटियाली तहसील परिसर में अनुभूति सेवा समिति द्वारा किसान गोष्टी का आयोजन किया गया। इस दौरान फसलों से सम्बंधित रोगों और उसके उपाय के बारे में जानकारी दी गयी। गोष्ठी में आये सैकड़ों किसानों को संबोधित करते हुए अखिल भारतीय कृषि अनुसन्धान संस्थान पूसा से आयीं वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक डा प्रतिभा शर्मा ने फसल की सुरक्षा से सम्बंधित उपाय बताये। कार्यक्रम के बाद डा शर्मा ने पास के गाँव में किसानों के साथ फसलों का निरीक्षण भी किया। ...........

किसान सेवा की निस्वार्थ पहल

अनुभूति सेवा समिति ने बताये वैज्ञानिक कृषि के तरीके
गोष्टी में कृषकों की समस्याओं का किया गया समाधान

जब कोई व्यक्ति या संस्था निस्वार्थ भाव से किसी कार्य को अंजाम देती है तो उसका फल उस व्यक्ति एवं संस्था को भी मिलता है। लगभग एक वर्ष से लगातार अनुभूति सेवा समिति द्वारा कांशीराम नगर जनपद के ग्रामीण अंचल में लगाये गए निशुल्क स्वास्थ्य एवं दवा वितरण शिविर से लोगों में संस्था के प्रति विश्वास के साथ साथ सम्मान भी बढ़ा है । इसी सम्मान से भाव विभोर होकर संस्था ने किसानों की कृषि संबंधी समस्याओं को देखते हुए ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में उनके निदान के लिए निशुल्क पहल की है। इसमें देश विदेश के कृषि वैज्ञानिक खेतों में पहुँच कर किसानों को जानकारी देकर समस्याओं का निस्तारण करेंगे।

इसी के तहत पटियाली तहसील में एक किसान गोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। गोष्ठी में सैकडों किसान फसलों सम्बन्धी समस्या एवं समाधान की आस लेकर पहुंचे । कई किसान तो अपने बीमारियों से पीड़ित पौधों को साथ लेकर आये। इस अवसर पर अखिल भारतीय कृषि अनुसन्धान केंद्र पूसा की वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक डा. प्रतिभा शर्मा ने किसानों की समस्याओं को सुना और पौधों को देखकर बीमारी से निजात पाने के उपाय भी बताये। इसके साथ ही डा . प्रतिभा शर्मा स्वयं किसानों के खेतों में चलकर गयीं जहाँ उन्होंने किसानों को आधुनिक तकनीक का इस्तेमाल कर बीमारियों से निजात पाने की विधि बतायी। ........

यात्रा का एक महत्वपूर्ण पड़ाव साजिद मलिक के घर दोपहर का भोजन रहा। वापसी की यात्रा उतनी लम्बी भी नहीं लगी। शायद कुछ सार्थक कर पाने का संतोष उसका कारण रहा होगा।
