पुलिस भर्ती

उत्तर प्रदेश में युवाओं के मन में यह बैठ गया है कि हर नौकरी जुगाड़ से ही लगती है. इसका परिणाम यह हुआ है कि बच्चे पढ़ने के लिए तैयार ही नहीं हैं. उनकी जुबां पर यही रहता है कि खर्चा पानी हम कर देंगे आप तो जुगाड़ लगवा दो।  इस मनः स्थिति से लड़ने के लिए पिछले कुछ महीनों अनुभूति टीम ने लगातार परिश्रम किया है। 

जब उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस में कॉन्स्टेबल भर्ती की घोषणा हुयी तो अनुभूति ने क्षेत्र के छात्र छात्राओं के लिए निःशुल्क  कोचिंग चलाने का निर्णय लिया।  करीब 150 छात्र छात्रायें स्क्रीनिंग परीक्षा में बैठे। कुछ बच्चे बहुत कमज़ोर थे लेकिन यह सोच कर कि अच्छे बच्चों को प्रशिक्षण से ज़यादा इन बच्चों को ज़रूरत है हमने सभी को इस कोचिंग में शामिल किया।  

ब्रजेश ढिल्लन और उनके साथियों ने इस पूरी प्रक्रिया में जी तोड़ मेंहनत की है. साजिद भाई ने हमेशा की तरह इसे एंकर किया है।  कुछ समय तो क्लासेज खुले मैदान में भी चलानी पड़ीं। एक बार टलने के बाद 15 दिसंबर को प्रारम्भिक परीक्षा आयोजित हो गयी है. अब परिणाम की प्रतीक्षा है।  यह परीक्षा केवल उन छात्र छात्राओं की नहीं हम सबकी है, देखना है कितनी सफलता मिलती है?

परिणाम जो भी हो हम  कृत संकल्पित हैं फिर से लड़ने को और मेन्स की तैयारी कराने को जो भी छात्र छात्राएं उत्तीर्ण होंगे उन्हें। अगर कुछ लोग भी सफल होते हैं तो प्रयास सार्थक होगा और बदलाव की शुरुआत होगी।

Coaching for Constables' Recruitment

I had started writing this in Hindi but there is some issue with Google Transliterate and it is not happening. I have no choice but to write in a language that doesn't really do justice to the way we feel and write.

Recruitment of Constables to UP Police is on. It has been decided that a preliminary exam for the same would be conducted on 27th October.There are large number of aspirants in the area of our intervention Patiyali. As resolved we decided to run a preparatory programme. There are 85 aspirants who come to attend the classes that are being held everyday even on Sundays. The mock tests are being administered everyday. The faculty that has been roped in is putting all its efforts to see to it that the boys and girls perform well.

Having said that, there are many issues which act as dampeners. There are complaints of indiscipline. Some of us who travel from Delhi and Lucknow to review find that the aspirants are not ready to apply their minds. They continue to make gross errors even in objective type questions. My own request for remembering the name of RBI governor fell on deaf ears. After a week when I repeated the question in the class only 4 of the 85 present could answer correctly. The faculty tells us that aspirants here think that since one of us is a senior police officer he will ensure their induction. They still believe that police recruitment is all about bribes and connections.

If that is the mindset where are we headed. Initially we had thought we should charge a nominal fee. We had also considered limiting the number of students. But then it was thought that opportunity should be available to everyone who wants to study. Similarly the idea of charging a fee did not find many takers. The young aspirants even than are not willing to put in the effort that needs to be put in.

It is learnt that the strength has gone up to 135 and there is lot of buzz about the classes. But that doesn't excite us as the complaints of indiscipline are also growing. This is the first time and many lessons need to be learnt.

Hope some of the boys and girls will get through.

Mundane Matters

It has been three months since we came here in June. It doesn't mean we haven't been working or that the pace has slowed down. But it certainly reflects upon the fatigue that has set in. There is nothing very exciting on the table. Routine visits, Health Camps and Marriages etc

Yes, We did honour the students who excelled in the High School and Intermediate Exams scoring more than 75% marks. The number was big and it was welcome. Vandana Gupta who had won a Cycle in the Quiz we had conducted last year stood over all 9th in the State in the Intermediate Exam of UP Board. We have facilitated her by gifting a Laptop.

The Career Counselling Workshop was a success as Yogendra Uttam of Uttam Career Institute Kanpur, Upendra Tripathi, Shah Nawaz from IITians Pace Lucknow, Sakhawat Hussain of the BYJU's Classes and Neena Pandey from Aditi College remained present for interaction with students. Conspicuous by their absence were Rajeev Rai and M.K.Roomi.

Courtesy Prabhat Bhai, Siddhartha Menon visited Sidhpura/Patiyali for the construction of a little place where we can organise some training programmes and if required stay as well. Siddhartha has agreed to take up the assignment. Although funds remain a major challenge We plan to go ahead from November onwards in right earnest.

The process for Recruitment for Police Constables in U.P. Police is on. We plan to start the classes for aspirants tentatively from 16th September for the Prelims. We are banking on Mr. Arun Tyagi for the same.

The struggle is eternal and We carry on.

बसंत महोत्सव

काश अखबारों में छपे समाचार सब कुछ कह पाते. काश चीजें उतनी आसान होतीं जितनी दिखती हैं। काश कभी किसी दोस्त को आज़माने के हालात न बनते। काश शुक्रिया कहने से वो बात कह सकी जाती जो हम महसूस करते हैं और कहना चाहते हैं।

हमें लगा कि हमने एक बहुत अच्छा कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया लेकिन अगर सुनने वालों की तादाद के दृष्टिकोण से देखा जाय तो शायद यह समझना हमारी नादानी ही होगी। हाँ ये सुकून तो हम ले ही सकते हैं कि  जो वहां मौजूद थे उन्हें ये पसंद आया। 

भजन, कबीर की रचनाओं और सूफियाना कलाम का अदभुत संगम था यह कार्यक्रम। भारती बन्धु ने मन से गाया और जब वो उठे तो लगा अरे अभी तो शुरू ही हुआ था। शुक्रिया उनका कि वो हमारे बुलाने पर आये। शुक्रिया अमित आपका जो आपने उन्हें यहाँ लाना संभव बनाया।

शुक्रिया हरेंद्र भाई ! आगरा में  साथी कलाकारों के यथायोग्य आतिथ्य के लिए। शुक्रिया मोहित उस गेस्ट हाउस के लिए जो तुम ही बुक कर सकते थे।

शुक्रिया कुलदीप भाई उन तमाम छोटी बड़ी चीज़ों के लिए जिनके लिए गाहे बगाहे हम आपको तकलीफ देते रहते हैं। शुक्रिया अजय (झंवर) भाई जो आपके हस्तक्षेप के कारण कार्यक्रम हो भी गया वरना एक समय तो लगा कि यह हो भी न पाएगा। 

शुक्रिया ADM बालमुकुन्द मिश्राजी का जिन्होंने  कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रह कर कार्यक्रम की शोभा बढ़ायी। 

शुक्रिया उन तमाम साथियों और सुनने वालों का जो कार्यक्रम में मौजूद  रहे। मन में ये ख़याल भी है कि Next time we would need to take a call whether we should really get into all this?

तेरी आँखों में हमने क्या देखा

मोतियाबिंद की समस्या बुजुर्गों को होती है ये तो हम सब जानते हैं , आश्चर्य तो तब हुआ जब प्रदीप  भाई  ने अपने दस साल के बेटे की दोनों आँखों में  इस  तकलीफ की बात बतायी। प्रदीप  गंजडुण्डवारा में रहते हैं। हमारा उनका औपचारिक परिचय अभी तक नहीं है. 

एक दिन यूँ ही उनका फ़ोन  आया और  उन्होंने इस समस्या से लडाई में हमारी मदद माँगी। वैसे वो सफ़दरजंग हॉस्पिटल में अभय को दिखा चुके थे किन्तु उससे संतुष्ट नहीं थे.

ऐसे में हमने महावीर इंटरनेशनल में उषा कपूर जी को समस्या से अवगत कराया . उन्होंने मरीज़ को फ़ौरन नबी करीम सेंटर पर भेजने के लिए कहा . वहां पर हुयी जांचों से भी स्पष्ट हुआ कि ऑपरेशन कराना होगा।

उषा कपूर और हमने महावीर इंटरनेशनल के डायरेक्टर अशोक जैन साहब से सफ़दरजंग हॉस्पिटल में  इस ऑपरेशन के लिए मदद माँगी which was more than forthcoming. He got us an appointment with Dr. V.S.Gupta HOD, the very next day and it was decided that the operation would be conducted without any loss of time. Mr. Jain was so kind and considerate that he even arranged for the lenses.

Abhay has got both his eyes operated and is hale and hearty.

श्रद्धांजली

इस यात्रा में बहुत साथी हैं और इसी वजह से ये सुहानी और बर्दाश्त करने लायक है. इसमें एक आदमी की कमी बहुत शिद्दत से अखरती है. वो कोई  बड़ा आदमी नहीं था.  लेकिन  अगर आज वो हमारे साथ होता तो बात ही कुछ और होती।

बहुत  से साथी उसे जानते हैं बहुत से नहीं भी . मनोज भाई आपको यकीनन याद होगा और मुझे विश्वास है आप सहमत होंगे कि अगर आज भूरे होता तो मज़ा आ जाता।

भूरे उसका असली नाम नहीं था।  हमें असली नाम पूछने में और उसे बताने में पसीने आ गए थे. मनोज भाई की बहुत जिद के बाद उसने बताया था कि उसका असली नाम शीतल प्रसाद है , साथ में यह भी जोड़ा कि अब सब भूरे ही कहते हैं . और फिर वह हम सबके लिये भी भूरे ही हो गया .

भूरे गाड़ी चलाता था। अपने फ़न में तो वो माहिर था ही इंसान भी बहतरीन था . हमेशा उसे मुस्कुराते ही देखा . कभी कोई शिकायत नहीं। खाना  न मिल सका तो भी कोई परवाह नहीं। बच्चोँ की तरह निष्छल। कई बार तो भेड़िया आया भेड़िया आया वाली कहानी मिलू के बहाने उसको ही सुननी होती थी।

दिल्ली की हर वो जगह जहाँ हमें जाना होता था उसे पता थी। दिल्ली को उसने और हमने मिल के ही जाना था। अगर आज बहुत से रास्ते पता हैं तो ये भूरे की वजह से ही है .

एक दिन भूरे को चेस्ट पेन की शिकायत हुई तो डॉक्टर को दिखाया गया। तब हम लोग दिल्ली में नहीं थे. बाद में  जब हम दिल्ली आये और चेक अप कराया तो पता लगा कि Heart की problem है. Angioplasty करानी होगी। सबके संयुक्त  और  छोटू ( करुणेन्द्र ) के विशेष प्रयास से AIIMS में ये भी हो गया। और लगा कि सब ठीक हो गया।

लेकिन कुछ साल बाद ही one morning he did not get up. It was 6th of January. And since than we have been struggling to learn to live with out him.

अनुभूति का पटियाली सफ़र उसके जाने के बाद ही शुरू हुआ। अगर आज भूरे होता तो जिस तरह का  काम हम लोग कर रहे हैं उसे देख कर बहुत खुश होता।

हर यात्रा में तुम्हारी याद साथ रहती है और  भले ही तुम हमें छोड़ कर चले गए हमारे संघर्ष का अभिन्न हिस्सा तुम हमेशा रहोगे. दोस्त भूरे तुम हमेशा याद किये जाओगे.

म्याऊ में बस

दिल्ली-म्याऊ रोडवेज बस सेवा आरंभ, हर्ष 

पटियाली: तटवर्ती ग्रामीणों की परेशानी को दृष्टिगत रखते हुये परिवहन विभाग ने दिल्ली-म्याऊ बस सेवा का शुभारंभ किया है। परिवहन विभाग की यह बस दिल्ली से रात्रि नौ बजे प्रस्थान करेगी जो कासगंज, गंजडुण्डवारा, पटियाली होकर ग्राम म्याऊ सुबह 6 बजे पहुंचेगी। एक घंटे विश्राम  के बाद सात बजे म्याऊ से पुन: रवाना होकर दिल्ली पांच बजे शाम को पहुंचेगी।

विदित हो कि ग्राम म्याऊ के ग्रामीणों की परेशानियों को दृष्टिगत रखते हुये ग्रामीणों ने अनुभूति सेवा समिति अध्यक्षा किरण यादव के समक्ष बात रखी जिसको अमली जामा पहनाते हुये समिति की पहल पर शनिवार की सुबह ग्राम म्याऊ में परिवहन विभाग की बस पहुंची तो ग्रामीणों की खुशी का ठिकाना न रहा।

ग्रामीणों ने परिवहन विभाग की बस का प्रथम बार आगमन पर जोरदार स्वागत कर मिष्ठान वितरण किया । इस दौरान ग्राम प्रधान शोएब खान, पूर्व प्रधान बाबू भाई, अरसद खां, शाहजेब हुसैन, मलिक, खालिद काजी, रामनिवास, अब्दुल्ला रहमान, जावेद, साहिद अली, मलिक एम साजिद कलम, दीपक यादव सहित अनेक लोग उपस्थित थे।

The Computer Centre

Last year when we met in the first workshop for the volunteers Tabrez Bhai had mentioned that we should go for a Centre of NCPUL (National Council for the Promotion of Urdu Language) at Patiyali as it would not only help the promotion of Urdu language but also bring Computer education to this area. Some of us at the end of the workshop were wondering as to what is the 'Take Home' from the workshop? This Republic Day when the Centre opened at Patiyali, there were smiles all around. In fact it was euphoria.

Crossing all hurdles we were able to get the Centre inaugurated on 26th January by Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. The credit for the entire show goes to Tabrez Bhai, Mohit Gupta & Malik M. Sajid. Timelines were difficult, there were too many loose ends and yet we did it. And we did it in a manner that every body was thrilled. Rajyavardhan got a very warm welcome and he was dignity and grace personified. Thanx Rajyavardhan for the pains you took to travel that far and being a part of the proceedings. Do forgive us if there were any slip ups.

Thanx Tabrez Bhai for every thing you did to make the event happen. Thanx Mohit for having been the anchor of the show in more ways than one. Thanks Sachin for providing the car. Thanx Anuj Saxena for organising the Centre. Thanx Rajeev Rai for being there and making the speech you made. Thanks Alok, Arun, Kamal, Arif for being there. अनुभूति ने कटरी में बांटे कंबल
पटियाली: ठिठुरन भरी सर्दी का सबसे अधिक प्रकोप गंगा की तलहटी में निवास करने वाले ग्रामीणों पर रहता है ,ऐसे गरीब तथा बेसहारा स्त्री, पुरुषों को ठंड से बचाने के लिये अनुभूति सेवा समिति के पदाधिकारियों ने तटवर्ती गांव नैथरा, नगरिया, तरसी और कादरगंज में पहुंचकर कंबलों का वितरण किया। सर्दी से बचाव के लिये अनुभूति सेवा समिति अध्यक्षा किरण यादव ने कंबल वितरण के दौरान कहा कि गरीबों तथा बेसहाराओं की मदद करना ही ईश्वर सेवा के तुल्य है जिसके बाद मानव को सच्ची शांति का अनुभव होता है।
तटवर्ती गांवो में कंबल वितरण के दौरान प्रधान विक्की, भगवान सिंह, मनीष चौहान, मलिक एम साजिद कलम, संजय यादव, अनिल कुमार, जलालुद्दीन, जितेंद्र यादव, रतन कुमार, शाहिद मास्टर मौजूद थे।

The New Year

संगठन की दिशा  और दशा पर कई मित्रों के मन में  सवाल हैं। ये कैसे चलेगा ?  न  कोई project, न कोई funding. ये charity कैसे sustain होगी और क्या  charity कोई समाधान है?

प्रश्न  बड़े और गंभीर हैं और इनके उत्तर हमारे पास हैं नहीं। हर चीज़ की  लाइफ होती है शायद इस प्रयास की भी होगी। एक ज़िद है प्रयास को आगे बढाने  की, निरंतर चलते रहने की। लगता है कि more than the destination, it is about the journey. So let us enjoy it. 

उत्तर  प्रदेश के छोटे से ज़िले कासगंज के छोटे - छोटे क़स्बों सिढ़पुरा, पटियाली और  गंजडुण्डवारा में अदिति कॉलेज की छात्राएं rural visit के लिए आयीं। उन्हें यहाँ आकर एक नया परिद्रश्य देखने को मिला, और हमारे लोगों ने भी एक नया अनुभव प्राप्त किया , ये भी क्या कम है? धन्यवाद अदिति कॉलेज , धन्यवाद नीना और शाहिद।

जब आग लगती है और सैकड़ों घर जल कर ख़ाक हो जाते हैं तब आप और हम जो मदद ले कर जाते हैं उसका कोई मूल्य है? इस बार तो National Institute of Disaster Management के सहयोग से हम Fire Fighting और prevention पर कुछ प्रशिक्षण भी करा सके।  नरदौली में कुछ Fire Extinguishers भी हमने छोड़े। धन्यवाद संजय और यदुवीर भाई . उन बेटियों की शादी हो सकी जिनके घर नैथरा में जल गए थे, ये क्या कम सुखद अनुभूति है?

जून की तपती दोपहरी में Anubhuti Volunteers की पहली Workshop आयोजित हुई। मनोज भाई, नीना, शाहिद, तबरेज़ भाई आप सभी का बहुत-बहुत शुक्रिया। But this शुक्रिया comes with a request to all of you to kindly plan the next one in March end.

किसने सोचा होगा कि National Book Trust कभी पटियाली में book exhibition लगाएगी लेकिन आपकी समिति ने इसे संभव कर दिखाया।  Thanx Rakesh.

अमीर खुसरो की ज़मीन पर पढाई लिखाई की बात भी हमें ही आगे बढानी होगी, और ये हमने किया भी। तहसील क्षेत्र के मेधावी छात्र छात्राओं को पुरस्कृत एवं सम्मानित करने के साथ ही उनकी Career Counselling भी की गयी।  अमित तुम CBI के इतने बड़े अफसर होने के बाद भी हमारे साथ पटियाली आये और बच्चों से बात की उसके लिए बहुत-बहुत आभार।

Teaching community in rural Uttar Pradesh has been a neglected lot for long. This Teachers Day we were able to honour teachers who excelled in Patiyali Tehsil in a function at Ganjdundwara. Thanks a lot Prof. Sanjai Bhatt for having graced the occasion with your eminent presence.

Persisting with our activities in the field of education we conducted a Quiz and Debate in the month of November. On this occasion we also announced the Anubhuti fellowship for the students of class XIth. The test for the same is yet to be conducted. Thank you Manoj Bhai for the thought.

पूरा उत्तर भारत और ख़ास तौर से दिल्ली और उत्तर प्रदेश ठण्ड से ठिठुर रहे हैं। पटियाली क्षेत्र में हम रिश्तों की गरमाहट से हर प्रकार की ठण्ड और जकड़न  से लड़ने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं। इस नवम्बर हमने एक नारा भी दिया था 'हम पढेंगे, हम लड़ेंगे'. इसे साकार भी करना है।

इस वर्ष नयी आशाओं , नए उत्साह और उमंग के साथ हमें आगे बढ़ना है ---

"सेनानी करो प्रयाण अभय भावी इतिहास तुम्हारा है 
ये नखत अमां के बुझते हैं सारा आकाश तुम्हारा है।।"
