The Winter Chill and Anubhuti Warmth

सर्दियों का मौसम ग़रीबों के लिए परेशानी का सबब बन कर आता है. कड़ाके की ठण्ड और तन छुपाने के लिए कपडे भी न हों तो स्थिति और भयावह हो जाती है.

जब अनुज और संजीव दिवाली के मौके पर अनुभूति के लिए 25 कम्बल ले कर आये तो हमें इस बात का ज़रा भी इल्म नहीं था कि कुछ ऐसे लोग भी होंगे जिन्हें  इनकी  ज़रुरत होगी. हमने साजिद भाई से कहा कि वो वाकई needy लोगों की एक सूची बना लें जिस से मदद पहुंचाई जा सके. जब उन्होंने इस काम को शुरू किया तो पाया कि ऐसे बहुत लोग हैं जिन्हें इस मदद की ज़रूरत है.

मोहित भाई ने 50 कम्बल भिजवाये. मनोज भाई ने २०, साजिद शापू साहब ने जम्मू से 25 और Karunendra ने 100 कम्बल अनुभूति को donate किये.

जब हम इनको बांटने पहुंचे तो आंखें नम हो गयीं. वृद्ध महिलाएं और पुरुष जिनकी त्वचा छूट  रही थी, जो ढंग से खड़े भी नहीं हो पा रहे थे कतार में खड़े थे. साजिद भाई ने अथक परिश्रम कर ऐसी सूची बनाई थी जिसमें हर शख्स वाकई ज़रूरतमंद था. ऐन वक़्त पर कुछ ऐसे लोगों ने भी इन्हें प्राप्त करने की कोशिश की जिन्हें इनकी ज़रुरत नहीं थी. बहुत मान मनुहार कर हमने उन्हें समझाया.

नैथरा, गढ़ी कादर गंज , कादरगंज , नगला खंधारी और नगला तरसी के दो सौ लोगों को समिति ने 26 दिसम्बर को कम्बल वितरित कर उन्हें इस ठण्ड में थोड़ी राहत पहुंचाई है.

ठण्ड थोड़ी कम होते ही हम फिर लौटेंगे एक और health कैंप के साथ, कुछ और दर्द कम करने , कुछ और मुस्कुराहटें जुटाने.

The Camp at Ganjdundwara

There are times when things dont go as planned. There are anxieties. Even as an organisation it feels how small we are and how difficult is the task ahead.

It was a tale of long journeys, unceratin moments, new friends joining the movement and another determined step in community service.

Shahid, Arif and Anuj started from Delhi in the evening of 3rd December to reach Etah at 2 in the morning. Dharmendra and Sudhir boarded the Kaifiyat Express from Lucknow and then took a UP Roadways bus from Aligarh to reach Etah early morning. All of us know how painful it is travelling in UPSRTC buses particularly on the GT Road that connects Delhi to Kanpur. We dont know where the road is and yet we travel and reach destinations.

Mohit along with Captain Joshi started early morning from Noida and so did Gyan Prakash Bhardwaj along with Arun Pathak. It was good to meet Gyan after so many years. Many of us were meeting him after 1986 when we parted from Sainik School Lucknow. Captain Joshi spent the whole day at the camp and gave company to Mohit. Trade Tax was in full strength after the arrival of M.Y.Ansari a fellow Aligarian.

Other Aligarians who joined on Arif's request included Tahir Ali Baig, Nadeem Bhai Chairman Nagarpalika Shamsabad, Mohammad Khalid, Javed Bhai, Qamar Bhai, Furqan Bhai, Javed Bhai from Ganjdundwara apart from our own Sajid Bhai with out whom not a thing moves.

When the camp began it was all smooth. Sajan reached and set his dispensary. The Ram Murti Trust Team reached in time. Poornesh with Bhaskar was there in time too. People came in large numbers particularly women who do not have access to medical facilities. At the end of the day we had a registration of 2000 patients.

Encouragement through words and presence came from Shri Pramod Sharma, Haji Kifayat Ali, Janab Farooq Qureshi, Umesh Aryaji and Dr.Rajeev Gupta.

हमारी गति ठीक है और दिशा भी किन्तु संसाधनों की कमी अब महसूस होने लगी है. लोगों की अपेक्षाएं बहुत हैं और इस उत्तरदायित्व का एहसास भी है हमें लेकिन सामर्थ्य और सीमा में ही तो काम होगा. विश्वास है चीज़ें बदलेंगी और यही विश्वास हमारी पूंजी है जिसके सहारे हम बढ़ते जा रहे हैं.

In Soron

In our parts Soron is believed to be the birth place of famous poet Tulsi Das. The town is a major pilgrimage centre yet due to the apathy of the powers that be, it has failed to get the attention it deserves. Team Anubhuti had a reason to visit it for the troubles, villagers near Soron were facing post floods.

Deepak Sharmaji had called us to inform that in villages like Lahara on the banks of river Ganga, there was outbreak of diseases as the area had been badly affected by floods. Sorry to say none of the agencies had bothered to help them. Despite the fact that Anubhuti has largely been concentrating in Patiyali area Deepak Bhai wanted us to intervene.

With out wasting any time we got down to work out the modalities. Bhaskar Sharma took the onus of arranging everything.On 8th October Dr Poornesh Chandra and his team along with Bhaskar Bhai and Sajan Dev reached Lahara early in the morning. They were able to help 2000 people with diagnosis and medicines. People came from neighbouring villages too, in Tongas, Bullock carts and tractors. They wanted Anubhuti to take care of them in future too. May God give us the strength to be with them in their hour of need.

Awake, Arise, Become, Begin

देर लगी आने में तुमको शुक्र है फिर भी आये तो
आस ने दिल का साथ न छोड़ा वैसे हम घबराये तो.

गाँधी जयंती 2 अक्टूबर 2010 को सुबह यही आलम था. पीयूष को द्वारका से आना था, अनुज को फरीदाबाद से और मोहित के job commitments बहुत बढ़ जाने के कारण अनिश्चय की स्थिति सी थी. But all three of them could join. Peeyush drove down to Faridabad to reach Anuj's place and Mohit joined from Mayur Vihar. Aligarh route is in bad shape therfore we travelled via Agra and it prove to be a prudent decision.

Dr Poornesh Chandra and his team alonwith Sajan and his team proceeded to Bahora and got down to the job even before we could reach. Sajid Bhai alongwith Shahid and Amjad from Patiyali lead them to the flood affected areas. People in large numbers turned up to take the medicines. Fever, skin and eye infections were the common ailments. Around 500 patients benefitted.

Sudhir, Dharmendra and Amarjeet had to spend the whole day on road as the route they took was cut off at kannauj. They had to return and then came via Kanpur. It was good to see them in the evening. Mohit had to return the same night and so was Sudhir. After a lot of thought both of them decided  to rest and leave early morning. Babloo was always around to take care of wharever was required. Mohit left early morning and that too by bus. Thanx Mohit for the pains taken.

Early morning on 3rd we started again. Met Sharad Bhai at Patiyali who kindly joined for the day ahead. We were all smiles when we visited Vipin who was operated for valve replacement at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital with the efforts of Team Anubhuti. He is in the pink of health. Thank God for that.

Beyond Ganges, things were far worse and so we travelled to Tilak Ka Nagla via Budayun. The bridge at Kachhla remains a major time eater as it is a rail road bridge. We were stranded at the gate for more than an hour. Reaching Kadarganj we realised roads were not motorable. पानी के बहाव से रास्ते कटे हुए थे. We requested for a tractor and it took a long time to arrange. गंगपुर के पास हम काफी देर फंसे रहे. काफी मशक्कत के बाद हमें एक बग्घी मिली और दवाएं  उसमें चढ़ा कर हम आगे बढे.

सबसे पहले हम नगला नियाजी पहुंचे. उदास चेहरे, बुखार में तपते बच्चे, बूढ़े और महिलाएं  make shift  झोंपड़ियों में बैठे लोग. They came and smiled when they got the medicine they wanted. That smile was priceless. We moved on to Tilak Ka Nagla and finally reached Nagla Khimai where its pradhan Rajendra Singh who had sent his tractor for us was waiting. We brought smiles where ever we went and that was some satisfaction.

As night descended we returned to Kadarganj on tractor, and proceeded to our respective destinations. Sudhir stayed back through out, despite the fact that there were important office issues which were continuously keeping him tense. Return journey was smooth as Budayun Delhi route is. But for the Lucknow team it was difficult. They lost their way but recovered in time.

It is tough there but all is not lost.

इस बार ऐसी बाढ़ आयी कि सारी व्यवस्थाएं ध्वस्त हो गयीं. मदद करने वालों के हौसले भी टूट गए. प्रकृति ने एक बार फिर हम सब को बौना साबित कर दिया. The State and its machinery was also dwarfed.

प्रभावित गाँवों में हर तरफ फैलती बीमारियों की खबर ने हम सबको हिला दिया. फिर हिम्मत जुटाई है.   शाहिद भाई परों से कुछ नहीं होता हौसलों से उड़ान होती है. आप कल लाहोल स्फीति जा रहे हैं हम लोग पटियाली. Dr Poornesh Chandra and his team is joining. Sajan Dev, Babloo, Mohit, Dharmendra, Sudhir, Peeyush and Anuj are expected to be there.

Floods and After

जब नरदौली में आग लगी थी तभी गाँव वालों ने कहा था कि इससे निपटेंगे तो बारिश शुरू होते ही बाढ़ की परेशानी आ जायेगी. और हुआ भी वही. लेकिन नुक्सान इतना ज्यादा हो जायेगा इसका अंदाज़ा किसी को नहीं था.

गाँव के गाँव डूब गए. कटरी क्षेत्र में लोग दाने और पानी तक को तरस गए. अगर ये दैवीय आपदा होती तो शायद इतना अफ़सोस न होता. सब जानते है कि बारिश इतनी नहीं हुयी. ये तो डेम से छोड़ा पानी है अगर इसका management ढंग से हो जाता तो इतना नुक्सान न होता.

हम लोग blame game में नहीं हैं. अपने सीमित साधनों में  जहाँ तक मुमकिन हो खिदमत करना चाहते हैं और इसी जज्बे के साथ   उन सभी गाँवों में अनुभूति के लोग पहुंचे यहाँ ये आपदा थी. डॉक्टर पूर्णेश चंद्रा और डॉक्टर अजीत के साथ दवाएं लेकर हम नवाब गंज नगरिया के लोगों को राहत पहुंचा सके इसका संतोष रहा.

अगले दिन नगला जय किशन में भी डॉक्टरों की टीम ने बहुत संघर्ष किया. बबलू और साजिद भाई हमेशा की तरह मुस्तैद थे ही. नगला पद्म में हम कुछ राहत सामग्री पहुंचा सके जबकि पानी का वहाब काफी तेज़ था और गाडी के बहने तक की सम्भावना थी.

साजिद भाई का मानना था कि ऐसे गाँव जहाँ तक पहुंचना मुश्किल हो रहा है वहां हमें एक केंद्र स्थापित कर फ़ूड पैकिट्स  भेजने चाहिए जब तक कि वहां सामान्य स्थिति न लौट आये. चुनौती बड़ी थी और खर्चीली भी किन्तु ज़रुरत वहां थी इसलिए इसे फ़ौरन अमली जामा पहनाया गया और कमलेश भाई के सहयोग से सनौढी में वह केंद्र शुरू हुआ. we are happy that we could do something for the people in distress.

Beyond Ganges the things were far worse. Therefore we reached Nagla Tilak via Budayun and started a food centre there as well. Today we can look back with satisfaction that we could help people when it was needed most. Things are looking up now and fast returning to normal.

It will take long though to heal the wounds that have been caused, to repair the damage and to restore what has been lost.

Thanx Sajid, Shahid, Babloo, Sajan although you could not join us as you were down with fever.

वो नज़ारा, जो बिखर गया है

बाढ़ के बाद

एक सपना बचा है आँखों में, सब कुछ खो देने के बाद,
संवरेगी अपनी जिंदगी दोबारा , आज निकल जाने के बाद।

खो दिया है सब कुछ, सब कुछ पा लेने के बाद,
रह गया है एक सपना इन आँखों में,
बदलेंगे दिन अपने,
बस, आज निकल जाने के बाद।।



Saifu.

Myaoo, Nathpur and Patiyali

21st of August early morning as it drizzled in parts of Delhi we were getting ready  to proceed to Patiyali. Shahid , Mohit, Arif and Sakhawat joined in a journey that looked challenging. We started a bit late and were therefore able to reach  only at 1630 hrs.

Dharmendra, Sudhir and Amarjeet started from Lucknow and joined us at Etah. In the land of Ameer Khusro, Sajid Bhai was waiting for us as always. After a brief talk we proceeded to Myaoo where a roza iftaar had been organised. All arrangements were in place as Dr Shazeb and Sajid Malik had put in lot of effort in to it. Everything went seamless.

Instead of only one masjid we were able to make arrangements at all the  masjids and this was good as people didnt have to walk long in the rainy season. By the grace of Allah the almighty not a drop of rain disturbed the programme. The affection of the people of Myaoo was unbelievable. They appreciated what Anubhuti Team is doing and Insha Allah we will measure upto their expectations.

Nathpur was required to be visited as the venue for the health camp next morning. It was late but we decided to go. Reaching Nathpur and meeting Hazari lal ji was such a pleasure. He assured us that the venue will be ready and all arrangements would me made to ensure that Medical team and support staff are comfortable.

वापसी हुयी समीर भाई के यहाँ जहाँ रात का खाना भी था. म्याऊ में इतनी लज़ीज़ बिरयानी खाने के बाद किसी को भूख नहीं थी लेकिन समीर भाई की भावनाओं का खूब सम्मान हुआ. मोहित को दूध पीने को क्या मिला लगा मन की मुराद मिल गयी.

रात को साढ़े तीन बजे के करीब लाइट गयी तो सुधीर के अलावा किसी ने करवट भी नहीं बदली. आठ लोग एक कमरे में जहाँ जगह मिली सो गए. सुबह असकसाते हुए उठे लेकिन चाय मिलते ही उर्जा का संचार हुआ. मोहित ने हवा में एक सवाल फैंका जो शाहिद पर targetted था. 30 साल और 40 साल के लोगों यानी बाकी सब और शाहिद में क्या फर्क है. शाहिद के अलावा बाकी सब ने उसका जवाब दिया. शाहिद ने ख़ामोशी अख्तियार कर ली. सोचो शाहिद कब तक खामोश रहोगे. इसमें तो भोले भी नहीं बचाने वाले.

Bhaskar's efforts bore fruits and doctors team reached in time. Babloo's entry with chana chaat was grand. Sajan was down with fever and yet he rose to reach Nathpur much ahead of all of us. And when we reached Nathpur we found that the medicines had already been laid. The dispensary under Sajan's command was ready. Commitment like this will take us places.

Camp was smooth. Everyone believed turn out would be less as it was raining. But we were pleasently surprised. As the day progressed people from nearby villages came in large groups. By evening more than 1400 patients had registered.

In the evening we reached Patiyali. The roza iftaar here was arranged at new tahseel parisar. What massive preparation Sajid Malik had made. Around 1000 people came and it was so well organised. Hats off to you Sajid. Ajay Chaudhryji reached from Delhi.  Qamar Bhai and Furqaan Bhai came from Aligarh. Thank You all so much.

Floods have struck the area and relief is badly needed. We are gearing up and god willing shall be able to chip in with whatever we have.

Return journey was painfull for both the teams. Accidents it seems have become a part of our lives. Both Lucknow and Delhi teams had their share of pain but luckily no one sustained injuries. Vehicles will take some time to return to the roads and we will have to do a rethink on night travel.

पटियाली लैब " With young writers"

ये एक कोशिश है अपने साथ भी और जगह के साथ भी कि क्या कोई ऐसी  जगह अपने रंग में  लोगों   को रंग सकती है ?

क्या सपनों  को दीवार पर सजाया जा सकता है ?

क्या कल्पनाओं  को बाज़ार में सुनाया जा सकता है ?

क्या खुद की  नज़र से देखे उन लम्हों को औरों  की  नजरों का हिस्सा बनाया जा सकता है ?

एसे कई सारे सुझाव और सवाल दिमाग में पहरा  देते रहते है लेकिन उनको हकीकत  की शक्ल देने में एक लम्बा समय चाहिए.   वो लम्बा समय बार-बार ये एहसास दिलाता रहेगा की वक़्त के बदलते काँटों  के साथ अगर खुद को बदलने की ज़िद भी जुड़ जाये तो उन बदलते पलों में, मैं खुद को भी पाउँगा . और समय यही चाहता है कि  सबको उसकी रफ़्तार से चलना चाहिए.  जो छूट गया वो कल वापस नहीं आएगा और अगले कल में खुद को देखना हमको काफी पीछे छोड़ देता है.

लोग कहते है - कछुए की चाल में आलस कम होता है, तेज़ भागने से आप कहीं  जाकर रुक जाते हो जहां  जाकर आप पीछे छूटने लगते हो...

ये सोचने वाली बात है कि  जीवन रचना की रफ़्तार क्या होनी चाहिए ?

 

मुझे लगता है कि समय हर घडी हमें  ये महसूस कराता  है कि हमें  किस रफ़्तार से चलना चाहिए.  हर मोड़ पर संभलने के संकेत देता नज़र आता है समय.

वक़्त-बे-वक़्त बनते किस्सों में आपको शामिल होने के न्यौते देता है तो कभी पिछले किस्सों से मिली नसीहतों  को सामने ले आता है और रफ़्तार पर असर छोड़ता है.

ये एक धारणा हम सबके दिमाग  में रहती है शायद आपकी धारणा कुछ और हो लेकिन मेरी सोच और मेरे ख्यालात यही कहते है की हमे वक़्त की रफ़्तार से कुछ सीखना चाहिए उसकी गति धीमी ज़रूर है मगर बदलते समय में वो खुद को तरह-तरह से ढाल लेता है - जब लोग कहते है - "यार आज दिन का पता ही नहीं चला, कब खत्म हो गया" या "यार इतनी देर हो गई बैठे-बैठे लेकिन समय है कि कट ही नहीं रहा".

ये समय के अपने कुछ ढांचे हैं  जो हमारे साथ तरह-तरह से जीते हैं  लेकिन फिर भी लोग उसकी गति और बदलते रूप से कुछ सीख  नहीं पाते, अपने बड़े-बुजुर्गों  से कहावत के नाम पर सीख का पाठ ज़रूर रट लेते हैं  लेकिन समय के साथ चलना नहीं सीख पाते .

शायद में  भी आज ही इस गति को सोच रहा हूँ आज से पहले मैं भी इस रफ़्तार से ओझल था जो रोज़ मेरे साथ जीता है मैं उसी को नहीं सोच पा रहा था.

आगे से हम सब समय की रफ़्तार को सोचेंगे और उसके साथ आगे बढ़ने  की नीति को अपने जीवन में अपनाएंगे

हमेशा खुद को आगे के लिए तैयार करना है, हर बार आगे बढ़ने  को सोचना है जीवन भी आगे बढ  रहा है समय भी आगे बढ  रहा है तो हम क्यों ठहराव में जियें  ? ये हमारी ज़िद होनी चाहिए तभी एक नया सपना पूरा होता दिखाई देगा .

अनुभूति लैब 

Bhargain ; Where serving is a pleasure.

एक  वादा एक विश्वास. और उसीका नतीजा था भरगेंन में हमारा दूसरा कैंप. दुश्वारियां बहुत थीं लेकिन अहद पक्का था और यही वजह रही कि हम इसे मुमकिन कर सके.

24 जुलाई से ही टीम अपने लोगों की खिदमत के लिए निकल पडी. डॉक्टर मोहम्मद शाहिद, मोहम्मद आरिफ, अनुज सक्सेना और मनीष जैन तो हमारे साथी हैं ही इस बार महावीर इंटरनेशनल के कौशलेन्द्र जी भी हमारे साथ थे. महावीर इंटरनेशनल की एक पूरी टीम जो इस कैंप के लिए आने वाली थी.

Eye Care के क्षेत्र में Mahavir International का अप्रतिम योगदान है. दिल्ली को cataract free करने के संकल्प के साथ वो काम कर रहे हैं. 1979 से शुरू कर स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में उन्होंने अपने लिए एक विशिष्ट स्थान बनाया है. ऐसी प्रतिष्ठित संस्था को भरगेंन वासियों की सेवा में लाने का एक मात्र मकसद ये था कि  हमारे लोगों को भी नयी से नयी और अच्छी से अच्छी स्वास्थ्य सेवाएँ उपलब्ध हो सकें. शुक्र गुज़ार हैं हम जनाब अजय चौधरी साहेब के जिनके ताव्वुन से ये मुमकिन हो सका.

दो venues की अपनी दिक्कतें होती हैं और इसीलिए ये मुनासिब समझा गया कि कैंप एक ही जगह हो. बरात घर पर तैयारियों को लेकर सब इकठ्ठा हुए. बरेली से श्री राम मूर्ती स्मारक ट्रस्ट से भी साथी लोग पहुँच चुके थे. मोहित के होम वर्क और असलम भाई की मेहरबानी से उन लोगों को भी आने में और रुकने में कोई तकलीफ नहीं हुयी. साजिद भाई छिद्दन भाई अब्दुर रहमान साहब और चुन्ना भाई की मौजूदगी से हर चीज़ बहुत आसान सी लगने लगी.

किसी भी बड़े कार्यक्रम में last minute blues तो हमेशा रहते ही हैं और वो भी खास तौर से तब जब कि लोगों को दूर दूर से आना हो. महावीर इंटरनेशनल की टीम जिसको उषा कपूर मैडम के नेत्रत्व में शाम तीन बजे दिल्ली से निकल जाना था she could start only at around 1800 hrs. Then the team had inputs that were quite scary. They were given to understand that there is no place worth the name where they can hope to stay for night at Etah. Further reaching Bhargain would be a nightmare as there is no road. We are happy we could dispel those doubts. Thanx Mahavir International for trusting us and being there.

Team from Lucknow which had Sriniwas Mishra alongwith Dharmendra Sachan, Thakur Amarjeet Singh and Sudhir Tyagi arrived simultaneously. Krishna Sisodiya and others travelled all the way from Dewas and Ratlam to contribute. We fall short of words in expressing our gratitude to Aslam Bhai and his wife who hosted all of us with such a delicious lunch. Their affection and the affection of the people of Bhargain is our strength. And Insha Allah this will lead us to serve the people of Bhargain in a manner it has never been done before.

After tieing up things at Bhargain we came to Etah to look after the Mahavir International Team. Babloo remained awake till two when they finally arrived and settled them seamlessly. Bhaskar Sharma hosted a nice dinner for the team at Aligarh. Thanks Bhaskar for all the pains you took. And Congratulations you have been blessed with another son. The team is looking for a party.

The Team from Shree Ram Moorti Smarak Trust arrived at Aliganj and was completely looked after by Aslam Bhai. And knowing how warm and caring he is we know Barielly Team would definitely have been more than comfortable. Thanx Aditya for sending your team.

The morning of 25th july had overcast skies and that was worrying. But then everything was put in place well in time. Sajid Malik sahab and Vimal Mishra deserve special thanks for the effort they put in. All the doctors were there dot in time and camp picked up really well.

At a very personal level the high point of this camp was the team Zeya Imam brought from Aligarh Muslim University. Zeya it has taken you almost a year to travel from Aligarh to be with us but when you have reached ,we know the journey is going to be far smoother and worth travelling. आप देर से पहुंचे मगर दुरुस्त पहुंचे. Thanx are due to Ali Amir Bhai who sent the community medicine team  whose contribution was immense.

In all around 2000 patients were examined and given free medicines. This despite heavy showers we had in between. All of us at Anubhuti have a feeling that all those who came to Bhargain will have fond memories of this camp and will return to this place whenever we get a chance to serve again.

Thanks are also due to Neena Pandey Head of the Department of Social Work at Aditi College University of Delhi who travelled to Bhargain to be a part of Anubhuti journey. She is drawing up many a plans for positive intervention in Bhargain. May God bless her.

एक नई जगह, एक नया संवाद...

पटियाली लैब उत्तेजना से भरा है और चाहतों की इस दौड़ में वो आगे रहना चाहता है। कंप्यूटर  उन चाहतों का  एक खास केंद्र है जिसमें  आकर जीना हर कोई चाहता है हर कोई का मतलब लैब से जुड़ने वाला हर एक शख्स।

लड़का हो या लड़की सब अपनी बात रखने  का एक साधन ढ़ूढने निकल पड़े हैं ।

लड़कों का लैब से जुड़ना और लैब के साधनों की सूची से जुड़ना एक पल के लिए आसान लगा लेकिन लड़कियों के  घर से निकलने की एक ही वज़ह है एक खास तरह के प्रोग्राम से जुड़ना जिससे भविष्य की झल्कियों में वो अपने आप को खड़ा पायें ।

लैब के पहले दिन में हमारा आपसी संवाद कुछ इस तरह होता है-
हम सभी जानते हैं कि हम इस जगह से क्यों जुड़े हैं ?

सब – कंप्यूटर  सीखने के लिए।
मैं - कंप्यूटर हमारे काम करने के कई साधनों में  से एक साधन है, जिसके साथ हम रोज़ जुड़े रहेंगे लेकिन इसके साथ और भी कई तरह की एक्टिविटी  के साथ हम काम करेंगे।
सब – हम कंप्यूटर  सीखना चाहते हैं.
मैं- कंप्यूटर  भी सीखन-सिखाना चलेगा लेकिन कुछ और काम भी जुड़े हैं कंप्यूटर  के साथ जैसे कि साउंड, इमेज और लिखने की एक्टिविटी .

और ये सभी प्रक्रियांए कंप्यूटर  की दुनियां से होकर गुज़रेंगी जैसे कि किसी स्टोरी का एनीमिशन बनाना, किसी कहानी को कुछ फ्रेम में उतारकर गिम्प में डिज़ाइन करना, अपनी लिखी किसी भी बात , संवाद या कहानी को कंप्यूटर  पर ही टाइप किया जाएगा और बहुत से  फोर्म को भी हम सब मिलकर कंप्यूटर पर ही डिज़ाइन करेंगे।

जिससे कि हम खुद को पूर्ण तरीके  से अपने आने वाले कल में खड़ा पा सकें। हम खुद के साथ काम करेंगे, खुद की सोच से खेलेंगे, नए ज़रियों से अपने आपको अपने आस-पास और समाज में पेश करेंगे।

लैब से जुड़े ज्यादातर लड़के-लड़कियां 10-12 क्लास के स्टूडेंट हैं और कुछ 8-9 क्लास के।
3 बच्चे भी है इस ग्रुप से जुड़े हुए जो माहौल की गरमाई में भी हंसी के गोले मारते रहते हैं।

लैब चलने का सिलसिला 1 जुलाई से शुरू हुआ, वैसे में यहां पिछले एक महीने से हूँ.  जिसमें मैने लोगों से बातचीत और समझने-समझाने के कई नए सिलसिलों से जुड़ना बेहतर  समझा.  गर्मियों  में लैब की रोज़मर्रा में मैं खुद को अकेला पाता था.  एक साथी और है इस अकेलेपन को बांटने वाला ( विमल ) हम दो लोग लैब में बैठकर अकसर ये सोचते थे कि लैब की शुरूआत कहाँ  से और कैसे करें ? क्योंकि बच्चे तो स्कूल शुरू होने के बाद ही आएंगे। तो हम दोनों हमेशा बच्चों को ढूढने निकल पड़ते थे, कभी किसी जानकार डॉक्टर से बात होती तो कभी इलाके के जानकार शख्स से कि हमारे साथ घर-घर चलके बच्चों को लैब से जुड़ने का न्यौता दें और समझाएं. 

अंशुमान भाई  ने भी पटियाली के लोगो से ये अपील की थी कि सैफू एक खास तरह की जगह  को पटियाली मे बना रहे हैं जिसमें आप सभी के बच्चों की इन्हे जरूरत पड़ेगी। उनके साथ कई नई एक्टिविटी  पर काम करेंगे, नई पहचान और टेलेंट को उभारेंगे।

यहां सभी को लिखने की समझ है लेकिन लिखें क्या उसकी समझ अभी खाली है।
और मेरा काम तो इसी सवाल से शुरू होता है - मैने शुरूआत में हाथों को लेखन की ओर लाने के लिए सवालों से खेलने की सोची कुछ छोटे सवालों की सूची बनाई और माहौल में फैकना शुरू किया ।

1 हम अपने आस-पास को किस नज़र से देखते हैं ?
2 घर और बाहर के माहौल में  क्या फर्क महसूस होता है ?
3 आवाज़ों को सुनकर माहौल की कल्पना क्या होगी ?
4 छत या घर की खिड़की से किसी एक माहौल को देख कर लिखना, जैसे- बारात या लड़ाई-झगड़े का माहौल।
5 अपने आस-पास की किसी जानकार छवि के बारे में लिखना जिसे सब जानते हो तुम भी।
6 अपने दोस्तों की सूची बनाओ और किसी एक खास दोस्त के बारे में लिखो कि वो खास क्यों है ?
7 वो एक दिन जिसे आप हमेशा याद रखते हो और क्यूं ?
8 गलियों से गुज़रते वक़्त किन-किन चीज़ों को आप अपनी जगह की पहचान का हिस्सा बना लेते हो ?
9 किसी से आप आकर्षित कब होते होते हो ? आकर्षित होने की  वजह को लिखना।
10 वो कौन सा माहौल है जिसमें  आप खुद को हर बार देखना चाहते हो और क्यूं ?

सबने लिखने की शुरूआत को बहुत ही मज़े के साथ लिया और लिखा भी सुनने-सुनाने की जब बात आई तो सबकी नज़रों और चहरों के देख कर मुझे अपना जे-पी लैब याद आ गया- मेरा वो पहला दिन जब मैंने आवाज़ो को सुनकर लिखा था, उस झिझक का फिर एक बार सामना करना पड़ा और जैसे मुझे उत्सुक किया गया था मैंने भी वही किया, थोड़ा ज़ोर डालते हुए।

सुनने के बाद बड़ा मज़ा आया सबके लेखन में छोटी-छोटी कुछ ऎसी  झलकियां थी जो माहौल को एक-दम से अपना बना देतीं  और सब एक-दूसरे पर हंसने लगते।

लिखने के इस सिलसिले के साथ हम आगे बढ़ते  रहेंगे और नयी सोच और संवाद को आपस में बाटते रहेंगे.

इसी बात पर एक शेर अर्ज़ करता हूँ


जिंदगी के लम्हों को बिताना सीख लिया,
मिला कोई जब तो बतियाना सीख लिया,
परवाह अगर की तो भुलाना भी सीख लिया,

Surviving to carry on

Nobody can be blamed for this. But it was a question of life and death. On 3rd of July when we were returning from Patiyali, we met with an accident near Sikandara Rau. The vehicle, as is usual, a borrowed one, was moving at a speed of around 90kmph when from nowhere a neelgai (Indian Bluebuck) appeared in front of the vehicle at a meanacing speed.

We collided head on while the neel gai took it side on. Shahid, Gyanendra Mishraji and Sanjay woke up to the reality that was an accident. Shahid smiled and said his affair with Neelgai continues. ( Remember neelgai had kissed the Innova in Jan when Shahid was travelling with Prabhat Bhai).

The stability Innova has as a vehicle saved us for the day. The vehicle was badly damaged, and is yet to get back on road. The journey became quite eventful after that. Gyanendra bhai arranged an Indica from a near by village ( we are impressed Gyanendra Bhai) and we were driven back to Aligarh.

Sabir was waiting at Aligarh with a railway ticket so that we could board Shatabdi. But that was not to be, as we reached five minutes late. We purchased a ticket for Neelanchal Express, and in true Railway tradition it kept on getting delayed. In the mean time Bhaskar who had left for the accident spot joined us at the station. He had met Babu the driver and found that the vehicle could be driven back to Delhi at a slow speed.

Neelanchal never came. We had Mahananda rolling in instead at 2130. Mahananda has a bad reputation for punctuality. Word was exchanged with Rahul Agarwal who told us that after Aligarh all trains are same. One is rarely given a precedence over the other. So we should board whatever is coming earlier in point of time. And that is how we boarded Mahananda.

Having boarded we realised Mahananda doesn't go to New Delhi railway station and it terminates at Old Delhi instead. Himanshu had been requested to pick us up from New Delhi, and Sanjay had requested someone to drop him at Vasant Kunj. All these requests had to be cancelled. Karunendra's presence at Ghaziabad prompted us to get down there. Always ready to help us in crisis he took no time in sending us the vehicle and we finally reached our places by 115 and 2 AM.

The wait was tiresome and frustrating. Only consolation was that Neelanchal didnt overtake us. The Ghevar Udairaj had handed us over at Kasganj helped us fight the pangs of hunger. Those who have not tasted Lala Roshan Laji's famous sweets are invited to join the journey and relish the delicacies.

We are alive and kicking। The stuggle is on. All are welcome on board.

श्री राम मूर्ती स्मारक ट्रस्ट बरेली का सहयोग

Health camps करते समय हम सभी ये शिद्दत से महसूस करते रहे हैं कि जो लोग ऐसी बीमारियों से पीड़ित हैं जिनमें regular follow up और detailed diagnosis की ज़रुरत है उन्हें सस्ता और अच्छा इलाज दिलाने की कोशिश हमें करनी चाहिए।

गंजडुण्डवारा में जब मोहित के अनुरोध पर अनिल भाई फर्रुखाबाद से चल कर आये और हमें Dr. राजीव गुप्ता से मिलवाया तो दूर दूर तक ये अंदाज़ा नहीं था कि वो कितना ख़ूबसूरत तोहफा अनुभूति को देकर जा रहे हैं। राजीव गुप्ता जी ने हमें श्री राम मूर्ती स्मारक ट्रस्ट की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में बहुत अच्छा काम कर रहे हैं और अगर अनुभूति उनका सहयोग ले सके तो समिति के प्रयास और सार्थक हो सकेंगे।

विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों की व्यस्तता के कारण श्री राम मूर्ती स्मारक ट्रस्ट की हमारी visit जल्दी संभव न हो सकी। फोन पर मोहित का संपर्क निरंतर बना हुआ था। अंततः 25 जून को सुबह सुबह हम लोग बरेली के लिए निकले। बाबू भाई गाडी चलाने नहीं आये तो हम VKPS की शरण में पहुंचे और एक नया ड्राईवर लेकर चल पड़े।

गढ़ मुक्तेश्वर के पास जो जाम लगता है उस रोड पर चलने वाले उस से प्रायः दो चार होते हैं और फिर जिसके मन में जहाँ आता है वो वहां गाडी घुसेड देता है। खेतों में बने कच्चे पक्के रास्तों पर होते हुए हम गढ़ पर बने पुल के नीचे तक तो पहुँच गए लेकिन पुल के ऊपर पहुंचना काफी टेढ़ी खीर साबित हुआ। We will always remember those images where Mohit created a way putting all his wits to use.

दूरियों और देरियों से मुकाबला करते हुए हम बरेली पहुंचे। लेकिन वहां पहुँच कर सारी थकान जाती रही। श्री राम मूर्ती स्मारक ट्रस्ट पहुँच कर हम मिले आदित्य मूर्ती जी से। A young and dynamic person who was more than warm to us. And yes there was a lot of positive energy around him. There was a note on his table which was so inspiring, the import of which was " यदि आप किसी चीज़ के लिए ईमानदारी से कोशिश करते हैं तो पूरी सृष्टि आपके सहयोग में लग जाती है।" How very true.

Shree Ram Moorti Smarak Trust Institute of Medical Sciences is one great institution. You have got to see it to believe it. It has all the modern facilities and they are available at very cost effective rates. More importantly there is a personal touch to everything and maintenance is out of this world. Aditya was very kind to organise a visit for us round the campus. And He has been very generous in offering all support to Anubhuti Team in its endeavours.

The first visible sign of the contribution being made by the Trust will be reflected in the next health camp scheduled to be held at Bhargain on 25th July. They have also promised free cataract operations at their hospital for all patients recommended by Anubhuti. Thank You so much.

श्री राम मूर्ती स्मारक ट्रस्ट ने जो मुस्कान हमें दी उसे सहेज कर हम अपने साथी असलम भाई से मिलने पहुंचे। वही खुलूस वही मोहब्बत। अफ़सोस दीदी घर पर नहीं थीं। इंशा अल्लाह हम फिर हाज़िर होंगे।

गढ़ मुक्तेश्वर में लगे जाम के भय से हम लोग via Badayun, Bulandshahar लौटे। रास्ता सुनसान ज़रूर था लेकिन अच्छा था। बरेली में ही गाडी चोटिल हो गयी थी इसलिए ये रास्ता और भी बेहतर रहा।

एक और सफ़र एक और मंजिल
चलते रहना ही तो ज़िंदगी है।

At Bhargain; To keep a Promise

We had promised to the people of Bhargain that we will return to them in July / August so that all those who could not avail the benefits of the first health camp are able to do so in the second. It is always easy to promise but very difficult to keep.

We visited Bhargain on 23 June to put things in perspective for the camp to be held on 25th of July. The team visited the tentative sites and zeroed in on two places, namely the Barat Ghar and the School. This would entail two teams for two different venues. Although all of us are not very comfortable with the idea of this split, we have to do it keeping in view the local demand and socio-political compulsions.

The team was as usual hosted by Aslam Bhai in company of our friend Chhiddan Khan. We were also lucky to be witness to a cricket tournament going on in the town. The ground was bad but then players rarely get discouraged by such limitations. We as a team dream better sports facilities for the people of Bhargain in future. May God fulfill these dreams. We are thankful to Aslam Bhai for introducing us to Chunna Bhai who has extended all co-operation for the ensuing camp.

कुछ दिनों पहले ही झाऊ झोर गाँव में एक डकैती पडी और उसमें एक व्यक्ति की जान भी चली गयी। हम लोग वहां गए, और दर्द को बांटने की कोशिश की। सभी की आँखें नम हो गयीं। छिद्दन भाई की पहल पर पीड़ित परिवार को बहुत छोटी मदद हम पहुंचा आये हैं लेकिन उसका सही लाभ तभी होगा जब हम उन बच्चों की शिक्षा अच्छी तरह करा सकें जिनके सर पर पिता का साया नहीं रहा।

सैफू ने जिस उर्स का ज़िक्र किया उसमें भी हम शामिल हुए। हजारों की तादाद में लोगों ने उस शाम का लुत्फ़ उठाया और जैसा कि साजिद भाई ने बताया प्रोग्राम सुबह ७ बजे तक चला। लेकिन सभी ने ये महसूस किया कि वो बात नहीं थी जो युसूफ मलिक साबरी में थी।

और फिर रात में ही सभी अपने अपने ठिकानों को रवाना हो गए। इस बार हमारे सहयात्री बने पीयूष कान्त खरे जो कि Sainik School Lucknow ke alumnus हैं और नौसेना में कार्य रत हैं। Welcome to the tribe Peeyush.

पटियाली में एक और रंगीन शाम...

हरवेन शाह दरगाह की ज़ोरदार शाम के बाद इस बार फिर एक शाम रंगीन होने जा रही है जिसमें कलाकारों के फन का रातभर बखूबी लुत्फ उठाया जाएगा।

ये शाम हज़रत बदरुदीन शाह रहमतुल्ला अलेह के नाम से मनायी जाएगी जिसमें पटियाली के लोगों की भरपूर शिरकत का अनुमान है। इस रात को हम हज़रत बदरुदीन शाह के नाम करते हुए ‌कव्वाली और शेरो-शायरी का एक एसा मंच रच रहे हैं जिसमें रात की चांदनी भी हसते-हसते हमें खुद के साथ जागने का न्यौता दे और उगता सूरज भी एक पल के लिए सोचे की सुबह की रोशनी कही इस रंगीनियत को खा ना जाए।

रात का अंधेरा हमे खुद के साथ शांत कर लेता है और उस शान्ति को हम अपनी रोज़मर्रा में उतार लेते है यही जीवन का क्रम है।

फिर एक बार रात को सोने वाली आँखें रात के अधेरे में भी रास्तों से गुज़रती हुई हज़रत बदरुदीन शाह की दरगाह पर मजमा लगाएंगी। और एक खूबसूरत माहौल बनाया जाएगा जिसमें उतरने वाला हर शख़्स खुद के मज़े की तलाश में घूमता दिखाई देगा।

पटियाली में राहत...

सुबह की चुभती धूप के बाद ,दोपहर को दौड़ती-भागती हवाओं ने इशारा कर दिया था कि अब राहत बहुत दूर नहीं। लोगों की दुआओं और उम्मीदों को पूरा होने में अब ‌‌‌वक्त कम ही लगेगा, हवाओं के साथ बातों का सिलसिला जो एक दूसरे तक बड़ी तेज़ी से चल पड़ा है। किसी को लगता है कि ये तेज़ चलती हवाएं सुकून लाएंगी तो किसी को पहले से ही मालूम है कि आज सिर्फ हल्का पानी पड़ेगा, जिससे कि भभका उठेगा।

शाम होते-होते कई घंटों के इंतज़ार के बाद तेज़ चलती हवाओं में लिपटी कुछ बारिश की बूंदों ने पटियाली में दस्तक दी। लोगों ने आहें भरीं और ऊपर नज़रें उठाकर सुकून की साँसें लीं लेकिन ये सुकून चंद लम्हों का ही था।

हवाओं में ठंडक थी इसलिए हर झोंका ये फुसफुसाता लगता कि "आज बारिश होगी"। सुबह से मौसम कहना चाह रहा है कि चप्पलें पहन लो और घर निकल लो। वरना कहीं ये न हो कि पानी पड़े और तुम छींकें मारते घूमो ।

सड़कों पर चलती हर गाड़ी (जीप) ने अपने सिर पर तिरपाल का अंगोछा ओढ़ लिया है। उम्मीद के साथ बनी हर तस्वीर पर छीटों का पड़ना जरूरी लगने लगा है जिससे कि उस तस्वीर की शक्ल भी भीगी -भीगी सी लगे।

रात का अंधेरा छाते ही तेज़ हवाओं के साथ फिर ऐसा लगा जैसे कोई सोते हुए को जगाने के लिए पानी की छींटें मारता है जैसे किसी प्यासे को कुछ बूंदों का सहारा दिया जाता है, जिससे कि जान में जान बनी रहे। लेकिन यहां का आलम चाहता है कि बारिश खूब जम कर हो, लोगों को हर तरीके से राहत मिले- खेती भी अच्छी हो और काम करने में बदन भी न टूटे। पटियाली में बारिश के साथ-साथ पेड़ों पर लगे आमों की भी बारिश हो जाएगी क्योंकि अब आम पुर चुका है बस अब वो पानी मांग रहा है पकने के लिए।

खुदा की नेमत का इंतज़ार तो हर किसी को है।
किसी को मिला पानी, तो धूप किसी को है।

और पूजा अपने घर चली गयी

जिन्होंने "शेखर एक जीवनी " पढ़ा है वे सरस्वती के सन्दर्भ में इन शब्दों के मायने बखूबी समझ सकते हैं। बेटी की विदा के समय परिवार की मानसिक स्थिति का अंदाजा तो वैसे भी हर हिन्दुस्तानी जानता ही है। पूजा के घर वालों के लिए तो ये पल खास तौर से और भी कष्टप्रद थे क्योंकि उन्होंने बहुत विषम परिस्थितियों में पूजा को विदा किया।


उन्हें तो ये विश्वास भी न रहा था कि तय दिन पूजा की शादी हो पायेगी। नगला चिना में हुए अग्निकांड में सब कुछ खो चुके वीर सहाय शाक्य को चिंता सता रही थी कि आखिर उनकी बेटी की शादी धनाभाव में कैसे होगी। लेकिन अनुभूति का संकल्प रंग लाया और पूजा की शादी धूम धाम से संपन्न हो गयी।


शुक्रिया उन तमाम लोगों का जिन्होंने इसे संभव बनाया। खास तौर से जनाब लक्ष्मी नारायण यादव जी का, भाई इमरान , वाहिद भाई , हामिद भाई, आमिर भाई , सलीम भाई और मलिक मोहम्मद साजिद का जिन्होंने तन मन धन से सहयोग किया।

"अनुभूति के लोग " आगे भी इसी जज्बे से काम करेंगे यही टीम की उम्मीद है। हम सब सामान्य लोग हैं लेकिन हमारे आदर्श ऊंचे हैं। The lines below indicate the spirit with which Anubhuti is working :

माहौल और आकार के बीच का चिठ्ठा....

अनजाने सवालों और हल्की मुस्कराहट के साथ मिलते, अपना परिचय और आपका परिचय मांगते लोग. कहा-सुनी के बाद इस सफ़र को उस पहलू से देखना शुरू कर देते जिस सफ़र की नीव रख दी गई है उस परिचय के साथ ।

पटियाली तहसील जिसके साथ कई नई उम्मीदें , सपने और बुनाई की गांठें लगाने को तैयार हम, जगह के बनने के साथ-साथ कई नई जिंदगियों को रचने की कल्पना कर रहे हैं । पटियाली तहसील को कल्पना और रचनात्मकता की नज़र से देखने की उत्सुकता से एक ख़ास जगह को बनाने की शुरुआत कर दी गई है- वो ख़ास जगह खुद की खासियत के उभार से लोगों तक पहुच सके और रचने-जड़ने का एक नया माहौल तैयार कर सके।

सुनने-सुनाने का मज़ा और खुद को निरंतर बहाव में रखने का लुत्फ़ ही रोज़मर्रा को एक सीधी दिशा दे सकता है। ठीक नदी के पानी की तरह जिस को ये पता नहीं होता कि उसे कितने मोड़ होकर गुज़रना है, कितनों की छुअन से रूबरू होकर भी खुद को फिर भी शीतल जल ही कहना है, रुकने–ठहरने के बावजूद भी अपने बहाव को नहीं भूलना है, फिसलना, रास्ता बनाना, कई आकारों में ढल जाना और निरंतर रास्तों की ख़ोज में बने रहना है।

अनुभूति का कुछ अपनी और कुछ लोगों की सहमति से होकर गुज़रना लगातार चल रहा है लेकिन उत्साह की उमंग को जागरूक करना अभी बाकी है। अनुभूति टीम का जगह के साथ एक बे-जोड़ रिश्ता नज़र आता है लेकिन अब जिस प्रस्ता‌व के साथ अनुभूति टीम समाज के बीच उतर रही है उस सपने से पटियाली तहसील के कई यंग युवक-युवतियां (लड़के-लड़कियां) खुद से और समाज से भविष्य से और सपनों से एक ख़ास तरह की बहस, समझ और चीजों को परखने के लिए तैयार हो जायेंगे.

कहते है :-
सपनों में हो अगर दम तो,
उड़ने के लिए पंख भी कम लगते है,
बीत जाता है दिन, गुज़र जाती है शाम,
रात में फिर नए सपने बुनने लगते है।।

और उन सपनों को मूल रूप से एक पूर्ण ढांचे में उतरने की शुरुआत हो चुकी है।

बहुत कठिन है डगर पनघट की

जब युसूफ मलिक साबरी साहब ने ये क़व्वाली गाना शुरू किया तो समां देखते ही बनता था। अमीर खुसरो की ज़मीन उनके ही कलाम से महक रही थी। हजारों लोग, बच्चे ,बूढ़े , युवा और महिलाएं जैसे कि सम्मोहित हो गए हों। वक़्त जैसे थम गया हो। कोई अपनी जगह से हिलता तक न था। और ये सुबह के चार बजे तक चलता रहा। युसूफ भाई आपका बहुत बहुत शुक्रिया कि आप हमारे दावतनामे पर तशरीफ़ लाये और आपके फ़न की हम क्या तारीफ़ करें?

हर गोशा गुलिस्ताँ था ,कल रात जहाँ तू था
एक जश्ने बहारां था, कल रात जहाँ तू था।।
नगमे थे हवाओं में, जादू था फिजाओं में
हर सांस ग़ज़लफाँ था ,कल रात जहां तू था ।।

And that is how We celebrated the diversity that is India in the land of Hazrat Amir khusro.

लेकिन इस उत्सव के पहले हमने बहुत सा दर्द देखा, आंसू देखे और जले हुए मकान देखे। चाहे वो सिंकदरपुर हो , ल्यौडीया हो या नगला चिना हो हर तरफ जले हुए घर दर्द की दास्ताँ बयां कर रहे थे। अनुभूति की टीम ने हमेशा की तरह immediate relief के लिए आवश्यक सामग्री उपलब्ध कराई।

लेकिन एक घर था जहाँ आंसू रुकने का नाम ही नहीं ले रहे थे। नगला चिना में वीर सहाय शाक्य की बेटी पूजा की शादी 27 को होना थी और सब कुछ जल कर खाक हो गया। संसाधनों के अभाव से दो चार अनुभूति करे भी तो क्या? लेकिन जहाँ चाह वहाँ राह। टीम ने संकल्प लिया कि बेटी की शादी होगी उसी धूम धाम से और उसी दिन जिस दिन तय है। उस लौटी हुयी मुस्कराहट की कोई कीमत नहीं और उस पर होने वाला खर्च कितना भी हो बड़ा नहीं।

शायद ऐसे ही जज्बे की वजह से हमें हर तरफ से सहयोग भी तो असीमित मिल रहा है। असलम भाई बरेली से चल कर आये और हमें फिर भरगेंन ले कर पहुंचे। वहां उन्होंने अनुभूति के लिए अपने घर को इस्तेमाल करने की पेशकश की । साथ ही सैफुद्दीन के काम के लिए भी फ़ौरन जगह की व्यवस्था भी कर दी। सैफू किसी तार्रुफ़ के मोहताज नहीं अब ये blog अधिकतर समय उन्हीं के हवाले रहेगा और वो खुद अपनी style में आपसे मुखातिब होंगे। Thanx Prabhat Bhai for this great contribution.

श्याम भाई सिढपुरा में अनुभूति के ऑफिस का निर्माण कार्य देख रहे हैं और सैफू के रहने की भी ज़िम्मेदारी आपने ली है। Thanx a lot.

And the camp at Majhaula turned out to be a success not because of us but because of the efforts of the new team members like Praveen of Dariyawganj, Harnath Singh ji of Majhaula and many others. Imran has offered his vehicle for local movement of goods, and also a room for Saifu in Patiyali for his interaction with aspiring writers.

There have been contributions for Anubhuti from great people in great amounts but one that needs to be recorded here is that of Shri Laxmi Narayan Yadav of Patiyali. At the age of 85 he is so impressed with Anubhuti's work that he has promised to contribute Rs 100 per month for all times to come. It was really a touching moment when he handed over those first 100 rupees.

Those who have read the last lines in the brochure would now appreciate the import of those words "struggle is eternal, the tribe increases, somebody else carries on." Alok Gupta is the latest entry and we hope he enjoyed the experience.

And quoting from Manoj Bhai's blog there are quite a few "Unspoken, Unwritten,and Unsaid" words of gratitude for Prabhat Bhai, Shahid, Sajid Malik, Anuj Saxena, Mohit Gupta, Dharmendra sachan, Sudhir Tyagi, Rajesh Dixit ,Bhaskar Sharma and Sajan Dev for being an integral and beautiful part of this long journey traversing which at many times makes you say "बहुत कठिन है डगर पनघट की"

The Camp at Bhargain

भरगैन कासगंज जिले का सबसे बड़ा क़स्बा है ,ज़ाहिर है जब यहाँ Health Camp होगा तो उसका साइज़ बहुत बड़ा होगा। क्या हम ज़रूरी इंतजाम ठीक से कर पायेंगे? कहीं दवाएं कम तो नहीं पड़ जायेंगी ? कहीं कुछ गलती तो नहीं हो जाएगी? ऐसे सवाल हम सभी के मन में शुरू से थे? और इसीलिये हम सभी, हर चीज़ के लिए पहले से व्यवस्था कर लेना चाहते थे।

यही सोच कर 23 April की शाम को ही एटा पहुँचने का प्रोग्राम बनाया गया। तमाम कोशिशों के बावजूद हम रात 9 बजे दिल्ली से निकल सके. उत्तर प्रदेश की सडकों का जो हाल है उसके चलते रात करीब ढाई बजे हम एटा पहुंचे। शाहिद भाई को घर पर और आरिफ साहब को सड़क पर काफी इंतज़ार करना पड़ा।

सुबह सुबह हम भरगैन के लिए निकले। दरियावगंज में प्रवीण से मुलाकात हुई और इत्तेफाक कुछ ऐसा रहा कि वहीं बरेली से असलम भाई और पटियाली से साजिद मालिक आ मिले। सब लोग इकट्ठे भरगैन पहुंचे जहाँ पहले से हमारा इंतज़ार हो रहा था। थोड़ी देर में ही लखनऊ से धर्मेन्द्र सचान और सुधीर त्यागी आ गए।सभी लोगों ने एक बार फिर Dr. I.M. Inter college का दौरा कर चीज़ों को अंतिम रूप देने की तैयारी की। उसके बाद हम लोग अगले कैंप की site देखने निकल पड़े। इस बहाने कस्बे का भ्रमण भी हो गया। We will take a final call for the venue after little more deliberations because many logistic and emotional issues are involved.

जब तक हम लौटे असलम भाई के घर खाना तैयार था।छिद्दन खान, हमारे वो दोस्त जिनसे वर्ष 1987 में हमने पहली बार भरगेंन का नाम सुना था और जो हमारे विशेष अनुरोध पर वापी से इस कैंप के लिए चले थे, के पहुँचते ही असलम भाई के घर हमने बहुत ही लज़ीज़ खाना खाया। असलम भाई आपका और दीदी का बहुत बहुत शुक्रिया।

In between we also had to travel to Nagla Alokhar of village Nardauli where 14 houses were gutted in fire. Anubhuti has provided relief to all these families so as to meet immediate requirements for atleast a week. Very little yet a big token of our affection and support.

Doctors team from Aligarh reached in the evening and made a night halt at Sidhpura. Thanks Shyam bhai for all the arrangements. One team from Jeevan hospital Delhi reached Agra and was joined by another Team from Gwalior. Thanks VKPS and Sajid Bhai for the same. Thank you Gangwar sir for providing them boarding and lodging. Sajid Bhai our chief guest for the next day also reached Agra in the evening itself. Thanx Shailendra for taking good care of him.

In the evening we returned to Etah via Bhargain and we were again lucky to have a sumptuous dinner at Aslam Bhai's place. Having done all these preparations everything in the morning should have been very smooth. But that was not to be. The last minute jitters were too many and at a point of time it seemed we are all at sea. So much so that Mohit seeing the turn out at the venue felt that we might even fall short of medicines. The doctors team from Sidhpura reached the site not before ten. The medicinal tempo took a lot of time in being located. Sajan Dev himself was delayed at Etah and hence medicines could not be laid as desired.

The second team of doctors was stranded at Aligarh till about 8 am for want of vehicle despite being ready at 6am. Chaudhry sahab, Manoj Bhai and Sanjay got delayed in starting from Delhi so also the team of doctors accompanying them from hospitals like AIIMS, Rockland and Bajaj Eye Hospital among others. All teams from Agra except Dr Sharad Gupta and Dr Alok Mittal started late than planned. One can imagine how it would have impacted the mind and psyche of the team battling it out in the field. But then one by one things began to fall in line and camp picked up in right earnest. Except for these delays in the morning things went off fine.

We have learnt that 3100 patients were registered. All of them were provided the medicines and since we had a lot of stock we still have reserves left. As always, distribution point remained an area of worry. Two counters were too short for distribution to such large numbers. Many suggestions have come up to improve it in future and we will work on them seriously. There was feedback from doctors as well. Dr Sharad Gupta was happy with medicines but has suggested adding Metrogyl suspension to paediatric kit. Dr S K kulshrestha said most of the females are anaemic and there is a very high incidence of tuberculosis infection in the population . We will specifically address these issues in our next camp here.

मौसम कुछ ऐसा है कि आग लगने की बहुत घटनाएँ हो रही हैं। उस्मानपुर में 36 घर जल कर खाक हो गए। हम लोग जो बन पड़ा वो लेकर उस्मानपुर भी पहुंचे। वहां की हालत बयां करना भी काफी मुश्किल है। एक बुज़ुर्ग महिला काफी जल गयी हैं। लेकिन अस्पतालों की निष्ठुरता देखिये कि उन्हें सब जगह से वापस कर दिया। अपने खुले ज़ख्मों को लिए उन्हें झोंपड़ी में देख कर आँखें नम हो गयीं। बहुत थोड़ी आर्थिक मदद हमने की लेकिन ये सुनिश्चित किया हम उन्हें वहां इस हाल में नहीं छोड़ेंगे। Aligarh Medical college से tie up भी हो गया लेकिन उनके परिवार के आग्रह के सामने मजबूर पड़ने के कारण finally हमने उन्हें पटियाली में admit करा दिया है और अनुभूति के सिपाही उनकी हर चीज़ की व्यवस्था कर रहे हैं। May she get well soon.

सांझ ढले जब कैंप ख़त्म हुआ तो सबने संतोष की सांस ली। अल्लाह के करम से सब ठीक हो गया। हम सब लोग अपने काम में perfection लाने की कोशिश करते हैं फिर भी कमियां रह जाती हैं। हमें उन कमियों का अहसास है और आगे हमारी कोशिश होगी कि ये कमियां दूर हों। जाने अनजाने में हम से अगर कोई गलती हो गयी हो तो उम्मीद है भरगेंन के लोग हमें माफ़ कर देंगे।

इस कैंप के लिए हमें बहुत से लोगों का शुक्रिया अदा करना है ख़ास तौर से असलम भाई का, आफताब भाई , कैप्टेन अब्दुल लतीफ़ साहब , डाक्टर इस्लाम नबी साहब, डाक्टर राशिद , छिद्दन खान , प्रिंसिपल साहब का और सच्चाई तो ये है कि हम भरगेंन के हर आदमी के शुक्र गुज़ार हैं कि उन्होंने हमें इतनी मुहब्बत और इज्ज़त दी।

Thanx are due to all the doctors who spared their valuable time and travelled from far off distances in the scorching heat. ख़ुसरो हम शर्मिंदा हैं

कई बरसों से अमीर ख़ुसरो महोत्सव का आयोजन नहीं हुआ था इसलिए जब कांशीराम नगर के जिलाधीश ने इसे इस साल आयोजित करने के लिए बैठक बुलाई तो पटियाली ही क्या पूरे क्षेत्र में खुशी की लहर दौड़ गयी। जब प्रशासन ने संसाधनों की कमी के चलते गैर सरकारी संस्थाओं से events sponsor करने के लए कहा तो सभी ने खुशी खुशी volunteer भी किया।

अनुभूति ने इस अवसर पर सूफियाना कलाम की एक शाम आयोजित करने की पेशकश की और प्रशासन ने उसे कुबूल भी कर लिया। तैयारियां शुरू हुईं। सूफियाना कलाम के मशहूर फ़नकार भारती बंधुओं से हमने गुज़ारिश की कि वो 25 April को पटियाली पधारें और पिछले बरस जो प्रस्तुति उन्होंने ताज महोत्सव में दी थी उस से भी ख़ूबसूरत compositions से पटियाली के अवाम को नवाजें।

जिस खुशी से उन्होंने हाँ की उस से तो हम सबके हर्ष की सीमा ही नहीं रही। सारे इन्तेज़ामात करा लिए गए। वो रायपुर ( छत्तीसगढ़ ) से कैसे आगरा पहुंचेंगे , कहाँ विश्राम करेंगे और फिर दिल्ली हो कर कैसे उनकी वापसी होगी सब tie-up हो गया। जो निमंत्रण आप लोगों ने देखा वह भी छप गया। आस पास रहने वाले ख़ुसरो साहब के चाहने वाले इस में शिरक़त कर सकें इस लिए पोस्टर भी छपवाए गए।

और जब प्रोग्राम को शुरू होने में सिर्फ 24 घंटे बाकी थे हमें फ़ोन करके बताया गया कि प्रशासन ने प्रोग्राम निरस्त कर दिया है। इसकी कोई वजह भी नहीं बतायी गयी। ऐसी संवेदनहीनता। ख़ुसरो साहब का ऐसा अपमान। पूरे कस्बे और पूरे क्षेत्र की ऐसी तौहीन। अब हम इन्हें क्या कहें? ख़ुसरो साहब आप से ही कह सकते हैं कि हम वाकई शर्मिंदा हैं और आपके गुनेहगार हैं , हो सके तो माफ़ कर दीजियेगा। लेकिन आपकी शान में जो गुस्ताखी हुयी है उसे इंशा अल्लाह हम बहुत जल्द दुरुस्त करेंगे और इस से भी बेहतर कार्यक्रम आयोजित कर के दिखायेंगे।

महमूदपुर कैंप, गंज और आगरा

वो सुबह कभी तो आयेगी

इन काली सदियों के सर से जब रात का आँचल ढलकेगा
जब दुःख के बादल पिघलेंगे और सुख का सागर छलकेगा
जब अम्बर झूम के नाचेगा जब धरती नगमे गाएगी

वो सुबह कभी तो आएगी

माना कि अभी तेरे मेरे अरमानों की कीमत कुछ भी नहीं
मिटटी का भी है कुछ मोल मगर इंसानों की कीमत कुछ भी नहीं
इंसानों की कीमत जब झूठे सिक्कों में न तौली जायेगी

वो सुबह कभी तो आयेगी

नहीं नहीं आज की हमारी ये सुबह वो सुबह नहीं है जिस का इंतज़ार करते करते साहिर चले गए और न जाने कितनी पीढियां और चली जायेंगी। लेकिन ये भी सच है कि अपने limited sphere में काम करती अनुभूति की टीम को इस बात का यकीन है कि जिन लोगों के बीच हम काम कर रहे हैं उनकी हर सुबह को खुशनुमा बनाने की हमारी ईमानदार कोशिश कुछ न कुछ बदलाव तो ज़रूर लायेगी।

और इसी का परिणाम है कि टीम बहुत ही commitment और focussed तरीके से काम में जुटी है। Alarm के बजने से पहले ही सब उठना शुरू हो गए। 6 लोग और एक बाथरूम , Hostel जैसी स्थिति , हर कोई अपने Turn का इंतज़ार करता। अब हम लोग उम्र के उस पड़ाव पर हैं जहाँ सब की कुछ आदतें पडी हुयी हैं किसी को उठते ही चाय चाहिए तो किसी को coffee. Anuj had promised to bring bed tea and although nobody believed him almost everyone was waiting for him. He surprised everyone when he turned up with a thermous full of tea.

We reached the camp site simultaneously with the doctors and it went off well। But we need to improve upon the timings of doctors as despite our best efforts they turn up around 11. That should not be the case in Bhargain where the turn out is expected to be much larger. We hope Bhaskar will take necessary remedial measures.

There were a few appointments lined up for us at Ganjdundwara by Mohit and Sajid. The most prominent among them being with Shri Anil Gupta who had travelled all the way long from Farrukhabad to introduce us to people who matter in Ganj. Dr. Rajeev Gupta was one among them. A very popular doctor he was more than warm about our programmes. Thanx Anil Bhai for the pains taken, but we will keep troubling you in future too and try to keep the promise of visiting you at Farrukhabad.

Back in the camp about 700 people took consultations and medicines. The turnout was good as people from nearby villages had also come. There were demands from Sunngarhi side for a camp in future. We think the executive can consider it after Bhargain.

There are a few in house issues raised by Dharmendra that need to be addressed. First and foremost discipline amongst ourselves, secondly tighter control on medicine distribution for there are quite a few leakages and better financial management.

On return this time we were lucky to meet Gangwar sir and Shailendra at Agra. For us from Sainik School it was a great reunion with Sanjeev Sharma who has now become Dr Rajesh Gautam. We hope to see him again at the Bhargain Camp.

It would be good if we meet this sunday at Aligarh and make the final preparations for Bhargain. This would also give us an opportunity to meet Zeya Imam, Haris-ul-islam and Abdul Sami Khan.

Preparing for Bhargain

ये सिर्फ यात्राओं के वृतांत नहीं हैं , निर्माण की कहानियां हैं। इसलिए हो सकता है ये उतनी रुचिकर भी न लगें ,क्योंकि निर्माण की प्रक्रिया हमेशा लम्बी और कभी कभी उबाऊ भी होती है। लेकिन संघर्ष के राही जानते हैं कि यूँ चलते जाना ही उन्हें मंजिल तक पहुंचाएगा।

संघर्ष की उसी कड़ी में हम निकले महमूदपुर Camp के लिए, साथ ही भरगैन की तैयारियों के लिए। इस बार हमारे साथ जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया में लेक्चरार सखावत हुसैन साहब भी थे। शाहिद और मोहित तो बदलाव के हमसफ़र हैं ही। संजय भाई और मनोज जी अनुभूति टीम के सिढपुरा office के निर्माण हेतु अपने valuable inputs देने के लिए हमारे साथ हुए। संसाधनों की कमी का परिणाम यह हुआ कि अनुज को अपनी कार खुद चलाकर ले जानी पडी। इस भीषण गर्मी में उसका AC भी काम नहीं कर रहा था। फिर भी सब लोग चलते रहे। और खैर के पास पहुँच कर दूसरी गाडी भी खराब हो गयी और AC ने काम करना बंद कर दिया। लेकिन फिर भी ढाई बजे हम पटियाली पहुँच गए। लखनऊ से धर्मेन्द्र और सुधीर भी आ पहुंचे।

पटियाली में साजिद मालिक सुबह से हमारे इंतज़ार में थे। बबलू ने नरदौली में लगी आग में कई घरों के तबाह हो जाने की खबर फोन से दी थी। और फिर साजिद भाई ने गाँव का दौरा कर यह पाया था कि पीड़ित परिवार बहुत ही ग़रीब हैं और सरकार द्वारा दी गयी 2000 रूपये प्रति परिवार की मदद नाकाफी है। सच्चाई तो ये है कि वो खाने को भी मोहताज हैं। अतः इन सभी परिवारों के लिए अनुभूति ने एक हफ्ते के लिए खाद्य सामग्री का kit तैयार किया और उन घरों तक पहुँचाया। A very small gesture to show our solidarity with them in their hour of crisis. May god provide them the strength to tide this crisis.

People at Bhargain had been waiting for us since afternoon but occupied as we were with things at Nardauli we got late and finally reached there around 730 PM। Aslam Bhai had been coordinating everything so closely that Wahid Bhai was there waiting for us. Islam Nabi sahab was there personally to show us the IM Inter College, the venue of the camp. We have understood the broad lay out and it should prove to be an ideal venue. we will however have to address issues of water, shade, medicine distribution and crowd regulation. Chhiddan bhai has promised to reach Bhargain on 24th from Gujarat and that would be a great support. We need to appologise to Dr Devendra Yadav, his close friend , who had to return to his village after having waited for us the whole day.

When we reached Etah after a long and hectic day there were quite a few of us who had no energy left even for the dinner. But then good sense prevailed and we had a good meal. As soon as we returned to the room and took to bed almost every one fell asleep immediately.

Beyond Ganges

ठीक एक महीने बाद हम एक और Health Camp आयोजित कर सके। इस से पहले कि किसी नकारात्मक भावना से प्रेरित विचार लिपिबद्ध हों पहले अच्छी अच्छी बातें।

( Beyond Ganges title किसी भी तरह शाहिद भाई की किताब Beyond Contraceptives से प्रेरित नहीं है। हाँ हमारा ये denial ज़रूर गुलज़ार साहब की इस बात से प्रेरित है कि इब्ने बतूता पर सर्वेश्वर दयाल सक्सेना का कोई सर्वाधिकार थोड़े ही है। )

शरद भाई की सलाह पर तिलक का नगला को इस camp हेतु चुना गया था. गंगा के उस पार मूल जिले कासगंज या एटा से पहुंचना काफी मुश्किल है , हाँ बदायूं की तरफ से थोडा आसान। इसलिए अलग अलग टीमें अलग दिशाओं से पहुँचीं । बदलाव के इस सफ़र के नए हमराही थे अरुण पाठक ,मनीष जैन और रोहित जैन। साथ ही राजीव राय के सौजन्य से इस बार हमारे साथ थे बुलंद शहर के प्रख्यात न्यूरो सर्जन डा राजीव अग्रवाल ।

शिविर को सफल ही माना जाय क्योंकि करीब 400 लोगों ने इसका लाभ उठाया। एक बात जो कई साथियों को परेशान करती रही वो थी कुछ एक गाँव वालों का बार बार दवा लेना। अब किसी भी public programme के इन side effects के लिए शायद हमें mentally तैयार रहना चाहिए।

Having said that all of us need to ponder if we are living upto what we had planned. All of us ,when we were not there in the field, had wonderful ideas. But once we are there it seems we have been struck with a drought of ideas. We get up mechanically, do the health camps and return. Is that all?

It is time we do a rethink. We need to spend more time in the area and make more interventions. Interventions that are innovative, that make a difference and that count.

Repeat at Sanaudhi

It was not by chance that we had chosen Sanaudhi for a camp earlier. This is the village from which Anuj (Saxena) hails. It was time we repeated it here so that there could be a continuity in what we are doing. Everything seemed so simple, when that was decided, for the place was seen and we merely had to replicate what we had done earlier. But things are never as easy as they seem.

As the D day arrived we had a series of difficulties. Arif was down with fever and hence was ruled out. Anuj was on a trip to Kashipur and it was difficult contacting him. Bhaskar who has single handedly handled the doctors team was in trouble as his mother and brother were hospitalised. The leader of the doctor's team Dr .Poornesh Chandra had problems in the back. Dharmendra's better half and daughters had fever, so Sudhir was left alone at Lucknow.

भगवान जब देता है तो छप्पर फाड़ के देता है। जब सुधीर स्टेशन पर ट्रेन पकड़ने पहुंचा तो पता चला कि ट्रेन cancelled है। लगभग पूरी टीम ही परेशानियों से दो चार थी। लेकिन सलाम उस हौसले को जो अनुभूति को एक ऐसा संगठन बनाता है जहाँ पीछे मुड़ने का प्रश्न ही नहीं। निर्णय हो गया तो बस जुनून है उसे अंजाम तक पहुंचाने का। सुधीर ने बस से चलने का फैसला कर डाला। शायद इश्वर को कुछ दया आयी और चीज़ें संभलना शुरू हुईं। Sudheer got accommodation on another train up to Tundla. We got in touch with Anuj and his movement with Mohit was tied up. Doctors were finally able to speak to Bhaskar assuring their presence at Sanaudhi.

As the morning of 21st feburary descended, things looked much brighter. Mohit left his place at 4.00 AM, picked up Anuj from Faridabad and at six they were near Khair. Doctors left Aligarh albeit slightly late, and Rajesh Dixit joined the team from Etah.

The camp was successfully organised. Anubhuti volunteers for the first time donned the new T shirts sent by Chaudhry Saheb. Deputy Commissioner - Commercial Tax Etah - Mr. M.Y. Ansari was kind enough to be present as the chief guest.

पटियाली : साधन विहीन कटरी क्षेत्र के अति पिछड़ा ग्राम सनौढी में अनुभूति सेवा समिति के तत्वावधान में तथा उप आयुक्त विक्री कर एम् वाई अंसारी के मुख्य आतिथ्य में स्वास्थ्य शिविर का आयोजन किया गया।

क्षेत्र भर से पधारे मरीजों को संबोधित करते हुए उपायुक्त विक्री कर ने कहा कि चिकित्सकीय सुविधाएं मौजूदा समय में शहरी क्षेत्र तक सिमट कर रह गयी हैं। अनुभूति सेवा समिति द्वारा ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में शिविर लगा कर निशुल्क स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण एवं दवा वितरण कर मानव सेवा की जा रही है। मानव सेवा ही सर्वोपरि है जिसे अनुभूति सेवा समिति बखूबी अंजाम दे रही है।

शिविर में आठ सौ से अधिक मरीजों का स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण कर दवा वितरित की गयी..........

म्याऊ में स्वास्थ्य शिविर

कटरी क्षेत्र का काफी पिछड़ा गाँव है म्याऊ। समी ने target गाँवों की जो सूची बनाई थी उसमें भी ये शामिल था। हमारे साथी डाक्टर शाज़ेब यहीं के रहने वाले हैं। सो 14 feb को अगला कैंप म्याऊ में लगाने का फैसला हुआ और तैयारियां भी शुरू हो गयीं। फिर मलिक भाई ने फरमाया कि म्याऊ में एक सालाना उर्स होता है जो 6 से 8 फरवरी तक चलेगा और अगर हम ये कैंप 7 को रख लेंगे तो ज्यादा लोग लाभ उठा पायेंगे।

फिर क्या था, पूरी टीम तुरंत सक्रिय हुयी और यों हम सबकी निगाहें म्याऊ कि ओर लग गयीं। धर्मेन्द्र और सुधीर लखनऊ से दिल्ली आ गए और फिर मोहित के साथ फिरोजाबाद की ओर हुआ प्रस्थान। रास्ते में पंकज गंगवार सर और शैलेन्द्र से मिलने की हूक तो बहुत उठी लेकिन समयाभाव के कारण वह संभव न हो सका।

फिरोजाबाद में हम बाबा साहब से मिले। 88 वर्ष की आयु में ग़ज़ब की fitness. His clarity in thinking was amazing. He could be business like and warm in the same stretch. He did the needful without wasting a moment and hosted high tea for us. No words can suffice our gratitude to him for the attention and affection he gave us.

How shall we ever forget the morning session we had on 7th prior to departure for म्याऊ ? Dharmendra wanted to continue the discussions later into the day but had to be advised against it. Such lighter and rare moments add value to the visits and make the journeys memorable.

The camp was a great success. The government machinery tried to chip in but in a supervisory role. Dr. Rajeev Kulshreshtha was kind enough to visit us and he has promised continued support in the camps to come. Qazi Raza Ahmad retired principal presided over the function. Most exemplary contrbution came from Anuj who drove all the way to the camp from Faridabad all alone and remained with us through out despite it being his marriage anniversary.

कैंप के उपरान्त शाम में हम लोग म्याऊ में आयोजित क़व्वाली मुकाबले में भी शामिल हुए। बहुत से लोगों को तो इस बात का इल्म भी नहीं है कि इस विधा के जन्म की कहानी पटियाली से ही शुरू होती है। क़व्वाली के जनक जनाब अमीर खुसरो साहब पटियाली के ही तो रहने वाले थे।

शरद मिश्राजी ने बताया कि कुछ सालों पहले अमीर खुसरो महोत्सव का आयोजन पटियाली में हुआ था और फिर बात आयी गयी हो गयी। अमीर खुसरो अपनी ज़मीन में ही बेगाने हो गए। अनुभूति के साथियों का मानना है कि उस रवायत को जिंदा करने की कोशिश हमें करनी चाहिए। इंशा अल्लाह हम उसे करेंगे और कामयाब होंगे।

मनोज भाई के कमरे में ये लाइनें पढ़ी थीं उन्हें उद्धृत करना ठीक ही होगा :

उस पार है उम्मीदों और उजास की एक पूरी दुनिया
अन्धेरा तो सिर्फ देहरी पर है।

किसान गोष्ठी

मलिक भाई का कहना था कि पूरे क्षेत्र में तम्बाकू की फसल पीली पड़ रही है , किसान हताश और निराश हैं तथा जल्दी ही कुछ नहीं किया गया तो आत्म हत्याओं जैसी स्थिति भी बन सकती है। यह हमारे लिए बिल्कुल नए प्रकार की चुनौती थी।

हमने कोशिश की कि अवागढ़ के वैज्ञानिक केंद्र से संपर्क कर सहायता उपलब्ध कराई जाये लेकिन कुछ हो न सका और फिर हम मनोज भाई की शरण में पहुंचे। संजय इंगोले के सहयोग से हमने भारतीय कृषि अनुसन्धान संस्थान से संपर्क साधा और थोड़ी आशा बंधी। तुरत फुरत कुछ samples भी बुलवा लिए गए लेकिन कोई नतीजा नहीं निकल सका।

एक बार पुनः प्रक्रिया प्रारम्भ हुयी तो हमारा संपर्क डॉक्टर प्रतिभा शर्मा से हुआ जो कि IARI में Plant pathologist हैं। मैडम की अपनी व्यस्तताएं तो थी हीं उनका स्वास्थ्य भी ठीक नहीं था। She therefore wanted to visit the area after 6th of Feb. But for us who were getting daily reminders from the field it was really difficult to postpone it that far. We persisted and madam obliged.

On the morning of 30th January we started for Patiyali. Madam was ready at 6am sharp. Anuj was picked up from Faridabad while Shahid and Arif started from home itself.

The journey it seemed would never end. We reached the venue at 130pm and were then able to conduct the meeting in a very fruitful manner. Madam had to take a combiflam but she is a great fighter and she has really inspired us by being with us on this journey.

किसान सेवा की निस्वार्थ पहल

अनुभूति सेवा समिति ने बताये वैज्ञानिक कृषि के तरीके
गोष्टी में कृषकों की समस्याओं का किया गया समाधान

जब कोई व्यक्ति या संस्था निस्वार्थ भाव से किसी कार्य को अंजाम देती है तो उसका फल उस व्यक्ति एवं संस्था को भी मिलता है। लगभग एक वर्ष से लगातार अनुभूति सेवा समिति द्वारा कांशीराम नगर जनपद के ग्रामीण अंचल में लगाये गए निशुल्क स्वास्थ्य एवं दवा वितरण शिविर से लोगों में संस्था के प्रति विश्वास के साथ साथ सम्मान भी बढ़ा है । इसी सम्मान से भाव विभोर होकर संस्था ने किसानों की कृषि संबंधी समस्याओं को देखते हुए ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में उनके निदान के लिए निशुल्क पहल की है। इसमें देश विदेश के कृषि वैज्ञानिक खेतों में पहुँच कर किसानों को जानकारी देकर समस्याओं का निस्तारण करेंगे।

इसी के तहत पटियाली तहसील में एक किसान गोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। गोष्ठी में सैकडों किसान फसलों सम्बन्धी समस्या एवं समाधान की आस लेकर पहुंचे । कई किसान तो अपने बीमारियों से पीड़ित पौधों को साथ लेकर आये। इस अवसर पर अखिल भारतीय कृषि अनुसन्धान केंद्र पूसा की वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक डा. प्रतिभा शर्मा ने किसानों की समस्याओं को सुना और पौधों को देखकर बीमारी से निजात पाने के उपाय भी बताये। इसके साथ ही डा . प्रतिभा शर्मा स्वयं किसानों के खेतों में चलकर गयीं जहाँ उन्होंने किसानों को आधुनिक तकनीक का इस्तेमाल कर बीमारियों से निजात पाने की विधि बतायी। ........

यात्रा का एक महत्वपूर्ण पड़ाव साजिद मलिक के घर दोपहर का भोजन रहा। वापसी की यात्रा उतनी लम्बी भी नहीं लगी। शायद कुछ सार्थक कर पाने का संतोष उसका कारण रहा होगा।

Health Camp at Chiraula

As scheduled the health camp at Chiraula was organised on 24th Jan 2010। It was reported in the newspapers in the following fashion:

रोगियों को नि:शुल्क दवाइयां

एटा ( संवाददाता )। गंजडुण्डवारा ब्लाक के ग्राम चिरौला में अनुभूति सेवा समिति द्वारा नि:शुल्क स्वास्थ्य में लगभग पांच सौ रोगियों ने चिकित्सकीय परीक्षण कराकर लाभ उठाया ।
रोगियों को मुफ्त दवाएं दी गयीं। चिकित्सकीय टीम ने समस्त रोगियों को अपने मोबाइल नंबर दिए ताकि रोगी को अन्य कोई समस्या आने पर उसका समाधान तुरंत किया जा सके।
शिविर में सैकडों की संख्या में स्थानीय लोग परीक्षण कराने आये। परीक्षण शिविर में विचार व्यक्त करते हुए , अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व छात्र नेता मोहम्मद आरिफ ने अनुभूति टीम की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में अनुभूति का योगदान अनुकरणीय है। इस शिविर में लगभग पांच सौ मरीजों ने अपना चिकित्सकीय परीक्षण कराके लाभ उठाया । बड़ी संख्या में बच्चों महिलाओं और बुजुर्गों ने नि:शुल्क दवा ग्रहण कर अनुभूति सेवा समिति को सराहा।
शिविर में शामिल श्रीमती कमरुल निसा ने कहा की समिति के शिविरों से उनके जीवन में आशा की नयी लहर जागी है। वाजिद हुसैन ग्राम प्रधान चिरौला ने संस्था की अध्यक्ष श्रीमती किरण यादव के प्रति इस क्षेत्र को समाज सेवा हेतु चुनने के लिए विशेष रूप से आभार प्रकट किया। शिविर में चिकित्सकीय परीक्षण अलीगढ़ से आये डॉक्टर पूर्नेश चन्द्र, डा. सत्येन्द्र सिंह , डा. अजीत सिंह व डा. आर के साहू ने किया।
भास्कर शर्मा , साजन देव , राजेश दीक्षित , अतीक मोहम्मद , विमल मिश्रा आदि ने शिविर को सफल बनाने में प्रमुख भूमिका निभायी।

प्रभात भाई की पटियाली यात्रा

नव वर्ष के अवसर पर कुछ साथियों को एक E mail लिखा था जो इमरोज़ को बहुत पसंद आया। इमरोज़ ने ये आग्रह भी किया कि इसे blog पर post किया जाए। और इस तरह अनुभूति का blog जो काफी समय से टलता आ रहा था create हो गया।

शाहिद ने उन पर की गयी टिपण्णी को गंभीरता से लेते हुए तत्काल ही पटियाली चलने का programme भी बना डाला। ये अलग बात है कि उसमें प्रभात भाई का initiative हम सब लोगों से कहीं अधिक था।

चार जनवरी को हम लोग प्रात : काल सात बजे पटियाली के लिए निकल पड़े। कड़ाके की ठण्ड और कोहरे के बीच अपने वादे के अनुसार प्रभात भाई एक बैग लटकाकर Dabur के पास खड़े मिले तो हम अभिभूत हो गए। बुलंदशहर के पास से जब प्रभात भाई ने शाहिद को फ़ोन किया तो शाहिद अलीगढ़ में गहरी नींद में थे। उन्हें जगाया गया। वे जागे और नए बस स्टैंड के सामने मिल भी गए। अलीगढ़ से एटा की यात्रा ठीक ही रही। बड़ी इच्छा थी कि शाहिद का ये claim कि उनकी सड़क यात्रा में कुछ न कुछ गड़बड़ ज़रूर होता है इस बार गलत साबित हो जाये लेकिन वैसा हो न सका। शाहिद इतनी बड़ी Innova पर भी भारी पड़े और नील गाय शायद उनको सही साबित करने के लिए ही उनकी गाडी से आ टकराई। सौभाग्य से किसी को कोई चोट नहीं आयी। On the lighter side जब शाहिद इस घटना का ज़िक्र कर रहे थे तो जहाँ हम सबको उनकी और प्रभात भाई की सलामती की फ़िक्र हो रही थी तब हमारी राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष को नील गाय के स्वास्थ्य की चिंता सता रही थी।

इस घटना को pretext बना कर और गाडी को थोड़े से damage की वजह से driver ने एक typical taxi driver की तरह दिल्ली वापस लौटने की अपनी demand place कर हमारे माथों पर परेशानी की लकीरें खींच दीं। और आप argument तो सुनिए। गाडी heat पकड़ लेगी तो फिर ठीक नहीं हो पायेगी। we had almost fallen for it when we realised that it was getting colder by every minute and the question of heating did not arise. We survived those anxious moments and thanx to the intervention Karunendra made from Delhi we were able to retain the vehicle and the driver.

Without losing any further time we reached Patiyali. And from then on it was a Prabhat bhai show. Vimal and Saajid were there. We were not heading any where until Prabhat bhai took over. He opened a new world to us. He shook us and woke us up to new ways of thinking and working with the community. He has put upon us the onus of compiling पटियाली के ज्ञानी and this is a totally new concept for us. He gave us a new meaning of the term ज्ञानी। He did not leave things at the discussion level. We went to the field and learnt how to work.

As the evening descended and fog began to thicken we returned to Etah and had dinner at Sameer's place. And before we retired we very seriously resolved important issues like as to who would switch off the lights and who would take which quilt. Prabhat bhai was given the honour of sleeping on a separate bed.

On 5th jan we began with a sumptuous breakfast and then visited the Tingals who were more than warm in these cold times. Tingals are a very reputed family of Patiyali and are now settled at Etah. Sanjayji is DGC at Etah and Siddhartha bhai looks after Patiyali properties. Siddhartha bhai accompanied us to Patiyali and showed us their farms, shops, temple and land. And it was a great gesture from him to have offered us all these if we needed them for Anubhuti. Their ancestral temple was such a surprise as it had Lord Vardaraj as its presiding diety quite uncommon in northern India.

Another session at the office with Prabhat Bhai opened new challenges for us. He has promised us a facelift for what has till now been more of a store room than an office. We think we will measure up to his expectations and deliver.

On our return we took a walk to the Bus Stand Etah and experimented with the South Indian cuisine at Rameshwaram restaurent. It was not very disappointing in the end. On the way, we also found CDs on sale for आल्हा whose loss we were rueing in our discussions with Dr Ram Singh the previous day. It remains to be seen what those CDs actually contain and whether they are doing any justice to the traditional recital of आल्हा in the rural areas. That should also make us think if something can be done to revive that tradition atleast in the Patiyali area.

And then came the moment when Shahid and Prabhat bhai left for Delhi. On his return Prabhat Bhai must have mused मैखाने में बैठे थे और मय को तरसते थे। The worst is when you travel with a companion like Shahid ,you go hungry and can't even complain। We will take remedial measures next time Prabhat bhai and not leave you at the mercy of Shahid.

We are following up on the problem, the tobacco farmers of the area , are facing. We shall also be doing the repeat heath camp at Chiraula very soon. Till then and hoping to hear from you.
